Thought we improved ten-fold when he came on. How you can blame him for the goal is just ridiculous.

I'd start him at ibrox only if we are playing a 5 man midfield.

He didn't track his man well enough. I think it's fair enough for some people to talk about that.

It's not exactly his job to be tracking players - Wilson was mainly to blame for the goal.

Of course it's part of his job to track back. Our central midfielders can't just allow the opposition's midfielders to run into our box unchallenged.

Have to most vehemently disagree with Dr.V's OP.

The team played much better when he came on yesterday. Ki's passing and positioning provided the team with a pivot, meaning the ball retention improved markedly, as was the pressure being applied to Killie. As for who was responsible for the goal, may I suggest you look at Wilson.

I am not saying Ki should start at Ipox next weekend, but I'll be damned if what he brought to yesterday's game can be labelled an 'empty shirt' performance.

Ki done his best to get a block in . Adam Mathews was more at fault for being caught up the park and jogging back.

Then the donkey Wilson who never bothered his * .

We played better when he came on, his passing helped create more space and we looked more dangerous. He did give away the bal cheaply on one occasion. Other than that he late well.

Of all the players you could have criticised and started a thread on, why ki?

Could name 5 or 6 players more culpable for the loss.

I would go with this tally wise i'm pretty sure he is only behind forrest with goals from midfield, assists i'm not sure on.

this guys was on a good vein of form and then was dropped out of nowhere and has become a pit part player again, he is better then that

didnt do anything too wrong when he came on, certainly doesnt deserve a thread dedicated to a poor performance.

One thing I will say is that me and my mate were crying out for him to take out the killie player as they broke up the park in the move that led to the goal. Should have taken a booking but ah well.

Dr. V this thread i disagree with and i could use strong words but i won't, i find this thread a bit bemusing to put it politely. There were 7 players on the pitch who i would have threads on relating to empty shirts before i got near Ki.

He did really well when he came on, passing was quicker, it was crisp, we were pinning Killie inside their half. For the goal i put it more down to Matthews slack play at the edge of their box and Wilson ball watching. Yes you could argue he could have given away a professional foul when they were breaking but that doesn't mean you point all the blame towards Ki.

In fact if Ki and Samaras had played from the beginning we would be sitting here with the first part of the treble, Ledley and Forrest were two of the worst players on the park yesterday along with Hooper, how you can label Ki's performance as empty is beyond me.

I am glad you can see Ki was mainly responsible for the goal.He was the catalyst for the goal being lost in the first place.
Ki was well off the pace and IMO he was at fault for the Killie goal, he lost the ball on the halfway line and if he had made the challenge to get the ball back he would have given away a free kick and received a yellow card, Killie would not have scored from there.

No he wasn't, Matthews lazy back pass to Ki was how we lost the ball, it was not Ki's fault at all he was dispossessed, the ball to him from Matthews was overhit and behind him.

have to disagree as well. the central midfield was a shambles before ki came on. Ki got the ball moving on the deck and urged the team forward with his attacking range of passes

Matthews & Wilson are the ones you should be more concerned about than Ki, in regards to the goal.

He made 1 good tackle and did nothing else of any note.

Still fail to see the player some others do, I would sell him in the summer....particularly as he will be worth decent money.
