not at all, he whipped in three good crosses all of which created chances. More than Ki or Commons did the entire game.

 

I think we had more chances after mcgeough came on than we did in the rest of the game, I also think he directly contributed to more chances than ki or commons did the entire game. He crossed in a few good balls and beat his man out wide several times. Ki's only real contribution to a scoring chance the entire game was missing two sitters and commons' only contribution was rolling a shot into the keepers arms. Aside from that those two offered nothing to the team.

 

Ki missing one sitter from three yards is bad enough, but missing two is unacceptable, this guy just dozen't have the right attitude and mindset to play for us.

Im not a fan of Ki as I think he slows our game down too much, amongst other things. However, he was, along with Commons, our best player today. Showed an energy and drive that is too often missing.

But...his two misses were crucial. Even if he puts one away I think we would have won the match.

All in the side were disappointing. We really need to get some leaders on the park. And sort the CB area out.

Why are we still persisting with Loovens? This joker has now pulled the wool over 3 managers. And Wilson is not good enough, looked a poor championship player today.

Regarding Ki "slowing down the game" - I think he is just very careful with his passes. He won't do the speculative pass unless he is almost sure that it will reach its intended target. He keeps possession well.

 

I've been reading korean fans forums lately and they all seem to think he's our best player and to good for Celtic and would walk in to man utds midfield he's very overrated IMO.

 

Funnily enough he's played in all the big games we've lost.

Over-cautious passes in a playmaking midfielder is a bad attribute.

Ki needs to be pushed out of his comfort zone like he was in Europe - advanced playmaker.

Ki can pass a ball well but he isn't fast, makes poor decisions at times, shites out of tackles and wants far to much time on the ball. he always seems to slow the play down. He'd do well in Serie A i think but i just dont think he's suited to our game.

If a decent offer comes in i'd sell

 

Must have missed him against Killie in the final the other week.
