The team is different with ki, or without ki. Recently, Once, Ki wasn't a starter due to his condition and the team which was struggled to pass and go forward had changed after Ki joined the team. The media and a lot of football fans here said he changed the game and even saved the team. He was a substitute player but was picked as a man of the match.

At celtic, this season has been tough time for him. I hope people don't get me wrong. It's not that I think he is having his best form now, it's not that I think he is doing so well everytime he play on the match. I think he has having a hard time repeatedly since his illness, But I still think sometimes some fans here are too easily blame him too much. To tell you the truth, I would never be happy if he leave Celtic just after this season. It will leave me much to be desired if this season would be the last one for him as a Celtic player.

Wish people would stop going on as if there's fans with a personal vendetta against him. Maybe if folk stopped hyping him up to be the next big thing then folk wouldn't expect so much of him, which is the reason he get's a lot of criticism after being games when he put's in a poor performance.

Going to stick up for BigWilly here, even though we completely disagree on how good Ki is.I am sure he was talking about Udinese away when Ki did put in a good performance (not the home game people are talking bout). But I stand by my judgement that by his age if he was as good as made out to be then he would be a sure fire starter in this current Celtic team. This isn't the MON era where we are a force in Europe, this team isn't strong. The korean Gerrard :)87:)... with a label like that everyone expected a player who could grab a game by the balls and make it his own. He flatters to deceive and that is the reason folk get wound up by him, it is nothing to do with race or nationality.

He seems like a nice guy,as does Cha but I honestly can't see him making it here. Hopefully we get good money for him, he moves on and becomes a great player but it won't happen in Scottish football.

Ps - Wanyama, Ledley, Rogne, Mulgrew, Matthews were all absolutely * against the huns. They all deserve criticism for the way they handled that game.

I honestly never thought he was very good last season. Our best form both this year and last have coincided with Ki's absence from the team and I think we play much better without him.

last season our best form was easily with ki in the team some games he was outstanding and was good at getting in the box showing some quick and nifty footwork but also showing of his passing range and his shooting abilities

have to disagree, before Ki and Cha left for the Asian Cup we were playing miserably and had drawn three games at home in a very short space of time. Once they left and we started playing Ledley and Kayal in the middle we went on our best run of the season.

    I could not disagree more.

The best football Celtic played last season was played with this midfield(L to R)......

    Commons------Ledley------Kayal------Brown

Ki's removal from the team allowed the Ledley - Kayal partnership the chance to grow and flourish.

sorry but exactly the opposite we became a worse team with brown in the team, when ki came back from the asian cup he struggled for a bit but then found his footing and was immense that last part of the season, and before he left for the asian cup he was our best player, how easily people forget that

and against rennes, and that udinese reserve team which no other player seemed to be able to perform against, that udinese reserve team which is better than any team we would face in the SPL, yes that one, also away to udinese, he had a good game there

actually try going back and watching the game again, because he was one of our best players, but I was referring to the away game where he and sammy were immense

Ki contributed next to nothing after coming back from the asian cup, he was good in the cup final but other than that he was very average and only regained his place in the side due to injury. Our longest unbeaten run occured when he was away at the Asian cup, whether we played the most beautiful football during that period is irrelevant imo, results are all that count and we got better results when he wasn't in the team as we have this year.

Ki may well have been in good form before he went off to the Asian Cup last winter but it was clear to see that the Celtic team, as a whole, played better once he wasn't in it.

Sums things up really. Ki has talent but we're a better team when he's not playing.

No sammy and Forster were immense. Ki played well, as did everyone else that night. You are blinded by your love for the guy. He is our fifth choice CM whether you like it or not

Agree totally, we played our best, most attractive hight tempo football with that midfield and it was solid defensively, ki and wanyama slow down our play at times i feel.
