I have said this before but if you watch football and youdon't recognise Joe Ledleys contribution to Celtic then you may as well go start watching Tennis. Wimbledons just round the corner.

What exactly are you on about mate I have been watching football for years and in my opinion he is an average Celtic player. Just because you dont agree with me doesnt make your views any better than mine and as for the Wimbledon comment....balls to you :bbpd:

Being 100% serious, people that don't see a player like Ledleys contibution in a Celtic strip really don't understand football.

Used to say the same to people that slagged Paul Lambert or Neil Lennon.

Nothing personal, it's just if you can't see that you may as well give up.

:50: Joe is definately not the type of player that you will see win man of the match often or give any stand out performances but he is a consistent 7 out of 10. Reads the game well and I think alot of people will be surprised by how much running off the ball he does(we'll see it in the champions league next year as they keep track of it). As for Ki, he's so lightweight for his size. He has no hunger or drive to step up and change a game. I'm still waiting to see his amazing technical ability that I'm told about aswell...

His positional sense, his covering, his very tidy passing, his tackling, his winning goals, his big game performances, his heading ability in our box and the opposition box, his versatility.

Basically his full game. He is also on 8 goals for the season and for a player who is mostly there to cover other, more attacking players that is * impressive.

He's a luxury player who only shines when he has plenty of space. Don't rate him at all.

Very rarely did anyone in our midfield try putting their foot on the ball yesterday, Ki seemed to be the only one although it didn't come off much. Personally I don't rate Ki as highly as the majority of our other midfielders but there were worse players than him yesterday.

I have to disagree with you on some points. I think he is slow, takes an age to control the ball and get it on to his left foot and then passes it back to whoever he got it from. Very rarely do you see a incisive defence splitting pass.Granted he wins a few in the air and his versatility is confined to playing left side of the team because of his failure to use his right foot, which in my opinion is why he should never be centre mid

He is a very tody possesion player but he has it in his locker to play defence splitting passes, like he did last season at Ibrox for Sammy's first goal. He is bery left footed but I don't think that really matters our other players are very right footed, it brings balance to the team.

Ledley is a complete all rounder, his play with Izzaguire and Commons last season was sensational. As well as this year with mostly Charlie Mulgrew down the left. The way he can play at Left Back and Left Midfield this season has covered our * so many times due to injuries to our team.

    Ultimate team player.

I think you are the only person who can't, like I said. Wimbledons round the corner :50:

ki was bad yesterday but he did a better job than anyone else in midfield, as for the person saying ki was * in europe, pull your head out of the sand, vs udinese he was one if nout our best player

Finally brought myself to watch the lowlights..........

Why Ki doesn't take Aluko out the game at the start of his run for the first goal is anyone's guess.

Just doesn't have the heart for it, not what we need at Celtic.

    Joe Ledley :50:

    Ki is a luxury player.

Always sitting right in front of the defence looking for the hollywood pass over the top.

He actually goes out of his way to pass to Cha.

Ki has had some good performances but not as consistant as Ledley. I'd have Kayal and Ledley in the middle way before Ki.

If that was McElbows at the other end would he have let the Celtic player waltz passed him?

Ki is a luxury in the big games.

Aye the thug would definitely have taken one for his team, Ki should have done the same but he just doesn't have it in him.

Could be doing with a trip to see the wizard of Oz, get himself a heart.

2 players strike up an understanding and its a great thing usually. Unless they are both foreigners from the same national team - then its something bad?

Ki does make good use of Cha. Cha also gets past his marker to the byline an absolute ton.
