It would be stupid move to sell him unless he wants to leave or has a year left on his contract. Obviously if good offer comes it should be considered, but selling him for few million pounds isn't a good thing in the long run.

There are some aspects of his game he needs to improve, but if he can work on them and improve already good attributes, he'll be a very good and useful player to have.

I think defence hinders our strength in midfield because we need to have one or even two midfielders covering idiots at the back, so we need to pay the price of not playing a creative player like Ki sometimes. If he can finally solve the defence problem, we can focus more on attack and rely on back line to take care of itself without Samaras and Hooper coming back to our penalty area. Ki's best position is playmaker where he can show his maximum, although I doubt he'll play there anytime soon.

Ki will be worth a lot of money one day.

Too early to cash in on him, even if we're looking at it simply from the financial pov.

In any case, we are a football club. Selling our most talented player should be a last resort.

    Keep.

Not now. Think he has potential butbhe hasn't done enough to command a big fee. Still to prove himself consistently with Celtic yet?

need to keep hold of our best players, hes definetly one of them. Keep a strong, balanced midfield, buy a permanent GK and Centre half, we have a good team.

Can we shut this thread down? He'll come back and score a couple of goals and then we will all be in love with him and his elegance again so I don't see the point of this.

    Keep ofc.

We need to understand number of benefits we gain from having him in our best 11.

    - He reads opponents' defenses and exploits advantageous space by distributing the ball.
    - Gives us a long shot option to threaten a defense that crowds the box
    - Provides quality corner / freekick options.
    - Workrate is decent. Some of you call him lazy but if you look at the individual match statistics on distance run by each players, he ranks within top 3 almost all the time. This is hard for us to accept because cameras focus on the ball. He provides follow up runs and transition runs diligently. He lacks speed, but don't confuse it with workrate.
    - Provides cover to our pitiful CBs on defense and on offense.

Not only is he needed in our line up at the moment unlike some of you would like to think, he is a valuable investment for the future which needs more time to be best capitalized.

However, we should sit him out once in a while to motivate him to play more consistently when he is on the field. He is young and his professional mentality has rooms for improvement.

    Keep.
