Ki or Nir Bitton?

Lets not kid ourselves on. Ki just got player of the year at a team who just came 8th in the English PL. Bitton has had one decent season for Celtic.

I like Bitton, I think he'll be a great player, better than Ki for us eventually, but if we're comparing the two players right now it has to be Ki.

I think a lot of people have ignored that part where the OP said

Ki is better technically but was very ineffective at times up here. If pushed I'd probably still take Ki over Bitton. Imagine him beside Brown in that deep lying role.

In saying that though Bitton is key to how we play. Can mind a game a few weeks ago, might've been a Friday night game when he wasn't playing and we looked so disjointed it was unreal.

 

Ki is better. Biton will be (or should be) the better player, in time.

Ki is a lot better and has done well at Swansea voted Player of Year for them. There is s huge gap between SPL and EPL standard wise, so it's hard to evaluate Biton.

 

There's no doubt in my opinion that Ki is the better player. I think he wasn't appreciated here mainly because we had great depth in that position and he was rightly moved on for a decent fee.

 

Not a lot in them but Bitton for me.

 

Ki has scored eight goals this season that's pretty impressive especially when he's quite defensive also.

 

Bitton at the san siro was a better performance than any ki gave in a celtic shirt. He was bossing it even when we were a man down.

 

Ki for me.

 

Ki has kicked on to a new level since leaving here and has consistently contributed at a high level for Swansea in a more competitive league

Biton has had his best season and did show some very good stuff against a decent but not historically great Inter Milan team.

For me it's Ki

 

I still think Bitton is extremely raw around the ears and has a long way to go , a few faults in his play that he needs to work on

Ki on the other hand has been doing really well down in engurland really to hard make a comparison

For me Ki is a far better player

 

ki is a very good player that flatters to be better than he really is

he has great control over the ball and is a comfortable passer with and uses his pace to run away from people when they get to close

im not sure myself how good he is like another poster im not sure if he could be an xavi for barcelona or a alonso for bayern, i think he flatters to decieve we will see soon enough if a big club comes in for him or not

anyway i voted for bitton think the guy oozes class for us

 

Bitton has looked better than ki did here

 

Ki was always undervalued by the fans, and he would have fit in perfectly under Delia, right now I think Ki is the better player, but I think Bitton has the potential to be better

 

Pish. He's scored winners against Man United etc and controls the midfield for a very good, very technical Swansea side. They play probably the best football in England (Maybe 2nd after Arsenal) and it's no surprise Ki is instrumental in that. :smiley-laughing002: Bitton had a very good game v Inter and scored one worldy and everybody is creaming over him. Ki plays week in, week out vs some of the best players in the world. Bitton plays against Barry Robson and Keith Lasley. But hey, what do Premier League managers know. Some people just make me laugh man :smiley-laughing002:

Probably being harsh on Bitton. He's had a great 6 MONTHS. Still a long way to go before he achieves anywhere near what Ki has though. Very excited about him, but I won't go over the top the way some people do
