Think if you put Ki in a midfield trio with Wanyama and Brown then he really excels. I'd say his main flaw is that he needs time and space to play, but once you help him to achieve it he's unreal at dictating play.

Ki has had a great season.

I think Ki has a bit more experience than Bitton at the top level so Id say he edges it.

In terms of raw ability right now I'd say it's even.

If you hypothetically added all their Football Manager attributes together the final figure should be the same.

Think Bitton has the potential to be better.

To be fair though if you put Ki in an Arsenal or Barca team I'd like to see what he could do. He's one of those players that divides opinion so much because you can't tell if he's world class or pish :smiley-laughing002:

Hard to say. Ki is a great player in his role but he's not that solid defensively but then equally Bitton is good defensively but not too great going forward but centre-mids seem better when they can defend ok.

Id like to see Ki at a team like Arsenal or Man U, he is better than players like Arteta, Flamini and Blind I think. Dont know if any of them would sign him though.

Ki is an under-rated passer of the ball too, id say if not one of the top 10 in the game atleast one of the top 20.

Totally different players but I'd have Bitton as I feel Ki lacked that bit of dig when teams started getting in about us, saying that I also felt Bitton was a bit lightweight but he's got his act together on that side of his game

Bitton has put in some top performances this season something which ki has never done for us or anybody else .I liked ki some nice touches and passes but he never seemed to be in the thick of the action

Aye he has, Sunderland's best player last season and Swansea's best this season. Korean POTY twice, Asian YPOTY once, Asian POTY 3rd place this year, Asian Cup Team of the Tournament.

Consistantly one of the best passers of a ball in Europe since he moved to England, one of the best passers at the World Cup.

Ki is a better player overall. His range of passing is the best I've seen at Celtic in a long time, and he could hit some cracking shots from distance.

If Bitton adds more goals to his game then he'll be as good.

I think they're too different to really compare, but I picked Ki.

I would say Ki but I don't think there is that much in it.

Ki was the easiest cash earned ever. Biton would be a player that we would have to replace badly. Was not the fact with Ki who was'nt consistent enough.

I love Bitton. Probably in my top 3 players this season but, I don't get how people can say he's the overall better player. All about personal opinion I suppose.

Going to stick my neck out here though and say when their careers come to an end I think Bitton will have been the better player of the two

With young Liam Henderson waiting in the wings I don't think we'd be in dire straits. I think a couple of seasons of regular football and he could be the next James McCarthy. I think it would be a travesty if the lack of game time at Celtic stunted his progress.

Do people still not rate Ki or just not think he was up to much during his time at Celtic? Imo he's proven to be a very, very good player over the past few years and is currently better than Bitton by a bit. Bitton can hopefully reach the same standard Ki is at now, and has age in his side too.

You could definitely argue that Bitton is the better player in a 2 man midfield, can't say I was all that impressed by Ki's performances when partnering Brown, but don't think his ability was ever remotely in question.

Just now, overall it has to be Ki.

In terms of their time at Celtic, I'l say Biton.

I think people are over-rating Ki a wee bit though. I mean he sprays passes about left right and centre but they don't really do much. I dunno, its not that I don't like him, I really do and think his time was under-rated here, however i've recently started to think he's a bit 'meh' in general.

That there, I mean he keeps the ball but nothing is really happening?
