looking at the team, there appears to be one position that could still be up for grabs in the last few games of the season. that being the 4th midfield spot with commons, kayal and brown taking up the other 3.
imo, there are three options. play ki in place of ledley, keeping brown out right and keeping the team as similar as possible to the one when ledley was fit. option two being bring brown into the centre with kayal and playing forrest out right. possibly on the right and switching commons to the right. or option three, play maloney, not forrest.
imo, we should play maloney. think he is a great player, plenty of skill and ability, very quick and agile, also pops up with the odd goal. he has experience of winning titles, which could prove vital. he can play like a traditional winger staying wide all game, but can also drift inside to influence the game more like commons does. also, think forrest has gone off the boil a bit recently and we cant afford that just now. i wouldnt have ki because i think he slows the play down too much at a time where we should be piling on the pressure to win the game asap.
just wondering what everyones opinion was on this?

hey, Ki sung for me as i like his composure
there's already some aggression in there :50:Last edited by a moderator: May 4, 2011 -
either brown on the right with ki in the middle or brown in the middle and maloney on the right
under no circumstances should we play forrest, im sure hes going to be a good player for us but this is a huge game that we cant risk playing someone who may or may not play well -

Ideally it would be Ledley and Kayal, but the gamble in the last Derby screwed that up. So it has to be Brown and Kayal in the centre. Ki is a decent option, but this time of year we really need the discipline and aggression of Brown in there with Kayal. Maloney out wide is a great player to come in. We forget that for the first couple of months of the season, Maloney was probably our best player. If he is near that form again then it can only add to the team.
For me, Ki slows the game down a little too much. I have been a little critical of him since he came back from the AC but in recent appearances he does appear to have injected a little more bite into his game. Doesnt get forward enough either. -
Maloney but I like the fact that we have quality players that we can rotate to change things when its not working. I remember when we looked at the bench and big Sno was our only option to come on.

Has to be Ki with Brown on the right.

ki

looks like 2 of them will be playing with kayal injured, Ki shoulda started tonight tho

Ki and Broony in the middle now that Kayal is out! So, it's just the right side... I think Forrest prefers the left, so what about Juarez what the *'s happened to him? and Freddie????

Forrest and Paddy should have started tonight.

I'm not satisfied with either of those options.
