He's no good for this league - he needs to play somewhere that he can do his pretty stuff.

No fight in the man at all and that's something that's really needed when playing in this shithole of a country / league.

He might look good the odd time with the ball but in general, the guy is * *. Our midfield is far too open when he is in the team. £10m my * hole. I would be happy to get two or three for him

Ki at least always provides good attacking play. His passes and technique, as well as shots. His set piece was the one we equalised from. His defensive contribution is almost always dodgy, too, though. It's not a matter of trying less. Which is not the case with Kayal lately. He can do far better in the defensive aspect. And should do better, since he's supposed to be the midfield general.

 

Hammer you are the master of taking frivilous quotes from, let's say more "tabloid" sections of this forum, and applying it across people of similar opinions.

Now I'm a Ki fan, I think he's our most important midfielder. Were he to leave I wouldn't be happy with anything less than £8m.

Furthermore he wasn't that bad today. He was essentially our only central midfielder in the first half, he provided a decent chance for Forrest and provided the delivery for the equaliser.

Once Lennon moved the the diamond formation (and had 2 Cm's next to him) Ki started to come into his own, and was often one of our best outlets going forward.

So while I'm not going to sit here and say he was wonderful, he's outstanding etc etc, of all the players today I wouldn't particularly pick him out as a poor-performer. You could equally level same criticism at Ledley today, and less said about Kayal the better.

I've not even touched on the argument that a (silly hypothetical sum) £15m player can have a poor game.

Your sole purpose on this thread is to exaggeratedly criticise those who like Ki, a CELTIC player. Yes, there are a few crazy folk who think £15m is a realistic current valuation, and who knows, if an EPL top 8 team came in perhaps we could get that (stranger things have happened) and it's interesting that you always pick up on these more extreme viewpoints and apply the criticism to a Ki fan like me (for example)

Ki was as rank as anyone else in the side today. Only Stokes and Forrest got anywhere near pass marks today.

To try and justify your total love of him in this way is remarkable. It really is. Ki, along with the majority of players in the side havent kicked their * for several games now. Yet you still peddle this pish.

Ki, Kayal, Hooper and anyone else who wants to leave, or isnt up to the task can * off in January and let us get players in who want to play for the club.

Our best players in the last 20 minutes were Forrest, Stokes and Mulgrew. Young players who know what it means to wear the shirt and arent trying to work a ticket to the EPL, or have fans spouting * about them being too good for the SPL and being worth £8m+

Happy to agree to disagree if you thought Ki was rubbish. I find it strange that you use Forrest as an example. Stokes also only played for less than 10 minutes.

My point is that however well Ki has played (good or bad), there are some people who come into this thread just to have a go at other fans.

I'm not bothered about that *per se*, if you wanna be a *, go ahead. But when you're utterly wrong and using stupid examples to back up your argument, that * me right off.
