It does annoy me when I hear about all the talent we supposedly have yet we get beat of St Johnstone and Hearts. Call me cynical but if Izzy, Ledley, Kayal, Ki, and Hopper are all that good, we should not be as poor as we are as that is almost half our team! I dont believe any of these players are bad players but they have done nothing to suggest they are brilliant either. They are the best of a bad bunch that might manage to get a game in a lower level EPL, or higher level championship side.

Call me old fashioned but lets hope Lennon can turn things around, start winning games, beat Rangers and close the gap, and maybe just maybe stop 4 in a row. Then if we can do all that we can start to worry about all our "superstars" moving on to bigger and better things.

Ta ra i say ,Guys like him should put up or shut up ,Bit desperate of him if he is quoted in saying that he would be happy to play for anyone if there in the Champs League ,Mindset of players like him can't be good for morale in the dressing room ,honestly if true i would punt him early ,Glory boy.

Wonder if the dark side might be interested? We could maybe swap him for Davey Weir, better centre half than any we presently have at our disposal, and a *' winner, summit we don't have in our side at the moment, this might sound ridiculous but the sad triuth of the matter is it's all true!!!!!!!!!!!:56::50:

he is easily one of the best players in the team. he seems to take alot of * when we lose even when its a whole team performance .he's improving all the time , and he is still young i'd leave if i was him too. especially if i read what some people say . i suppose we could always sell him and spend the money on a new squad of * when lenny gets sacked and the next manager comes in and wants an overhaul . he's the new mcgeady it seems.

    hope he stays

Was only a matter of time, in my opinion he deserves to be playing in the champions league.

Why are people slating the guy as if this articles is gods honest truth, sounds like total bullshit to me to be honest, ill wait for some actual evidence rather than slate one of our own players on nothing but hearsay.

Ki Sung-Yueng wants to quit Celtic, who rejected an £8m bid from Rubin Kazan for the South Korea midfielder this summer, in January or the summer in search of Champions League football. (Daily Mail)

Aye, sell a 22 year old for a man ten years his senior. It'd be nothing more than a short term fix = bad business.

    Ha, utter muck.

Go ahead and use the (silly) Lubo comparison as a beating stick. I think we both know it's a stupid comparison anyway (one's a forward, one's a deep lying midfielder)

Using that comparison doesn't add any credibility to what you're saying however. Pointing out the Huns/Hearts games doesn't really help either. Players and teams have bad games - even Lubo.

Ki has probably been our best player this season - and has been getting the most goals from midfield since Petrov.

We've been lacking goals from the centre, and a bit of ingenuity and vision. Yet you criticise?

I also noticed your slagging of Paul McStay in another thread - the conclusion is you couldn't pick a midfielder if Xavi slapped his balls in your face. Just a dreadful dreadful post.

Do you have a crystal ball banana? Are you able to see whether a player will improve when he has over 11 years in which to improve? I think people forget to easily Ki is only 22, he has up to 12 years left in his career, he is only just starting.

You don't need one. He's only good when teams allow him to be. Lubo grabbed a game by the balls and was a genius.

Well i disagree with that completely, then again there are many many on here that have the same opinion you have and some even believe scott brown should be a mainstay in the celtic team.

Same can be said of many of our other so called better players, hooper can be * gash against a defender who tries but looks england worthy to some against some of the poorest standard of defenders ive ever seen.

There is waaayy to many hypocrites who chose to slate Ki but fail to mention anything about our other better players who have been playing far worse than ki has, and there is a good argument to be made for Ki being one of our best performers this season.

Number 1 - Hooper is never good enough for England and yes he does go missing but it's more concerning when a central midfielder goes missing than a striker who needs service.

Number 2 - Brown is quite rotten, but we as a team are quite rotten. He can't pass, doesn't score enough, can't hit a decent shot from distance. His only real attributes are his work rate and putting himself about.

Our full team is average really, have a few decent games against * form the SPL and they get made out to be better than they are. We were shown up against Sion, who are no Barcelona.

We have some good players but there not great and never going to be world class. For me Kayal is a better player than Ki, so is Ledley. I hope you're right and Ki ends up being near the level of Lubo but i doubt it very much.

how about we give you a list of other Celtic players so you can slate them aswell?

we are in a different era , an era with no money where talent has to be found early and developed .

maybe we should put the boot into hooper for not being Henrik ?

The guy that says my post is utter muck suggests Ki has been our best player this season :56::56::56:

If a guy that goes AWOL whenever we need him is our best player then we might as well fast forward to May and hand the huns the title.

I realise you have a hard on for Ki but that doesn't mean others, a lot of people on here other than myself, can't have massive reservations about an immature midfielder who has never given us a run of 3 good games in the whole time he has played for Celtic.
