Ki is going to move next summer

Very over-rated, sell him if we can get a minimum of £6 Mil for him. He is all one pace, doesn't tackle and really doesn't care too much about losing matches, he sold the jerseys against Sion and the Huns.

 

If we get an offer of 6+mill he'll be gone , you can make sure of that.

 

I honestly think we only bought him to make money on him and it looks like we're about to do that.

i for one wouldn't miss him.. disappears when the going gets tough & really isn't consistent enough for me.

 

He's a great player, but it's not devastating if he leaves.

 

He has no intention of staying here long term anyway and I think he will jump at an opportunity to go to England. The longer he is here, the more his contract will run down and the less his value will be.

If we get a decent offer in January we should capitalise and sell him. Use the funds to bring in one or two players.

 

He is still young and has potential to be a great player, but at the moment the Europa league has proven to be a bit tough for him never mind the Champions league.

 

shitload of talent but seems to disappear when the pressure games come up , couldnt give a * either way tbh , tired of seeing some of our "big" players, play great against mediocre spl clubs and then turtle when given the chance to rise to the occasion against the big clubs. hes nowhere even * close to being ready to playing cl footbal

 

I think if the guy toughens up and has a stronger mentality then he can be essential to us. Unfortunately he seems to have problems doing this. For a big lad, 6'2'' I think he is, he shies away from challenges and doesn't like the physical side of our game so much. If he brushes up on his side of the game, he could be a 'Ki' player for a top 8 EPL side as he has nearly all the technical attributes of the game. I hope to * that this rumour isn't true as I feel we will lose a player with magnificent potential.

 

Wouldn't accept anything less than £10m for him. Good player, great prospect. People who are saying they wont miss him are absolutely mad.

Have to disagree, since he arrived he's bulked up considerably and over the course of last season there was a marked improvement in his play as far as getting rough and 'stuck in' is concerned.

He doesn't shy away from the rough stuff as much as some would suggest, tbh he's put in a fair few tackles that would border on dangerous and lucky not to be carded.

The way I look at our midfielders is, who would you rather have in the squad, someone like Ki who is an obvious talent and oozes technical ability, that if needed can bulk up further and get tough with experience. Or someone like Brown who is all toughness and 'dig' but realistically isn't not goign to improve much more as a footballer.

I know who I'd want to stick around.

 

You may not be a fan of Brown but his kind of player was certainly one we needed against Hearts on Sunday, as with Kayal and Ledley. We needed someone who was going to put in 110% and never give in and fight for the Celtic cause until the final whistle. When the going gets tough, the tough never seems to get going for Ki.

I'd agree players like Kayal and Ledley are essential for a game like Hearts Hooperman, but while they're equal in workrate they're both a cut above Brown as footballers.

Of our four competing CM's, our captain is unfortunatly the one I feel we'd miss the least and should be looking to profit on his sale before anyone else. Problem with that is I really don't think anyone would buy him.

The fact that Ki, Kayal and Ledley are all obviously so salable is worrying to me, how can we expect to hold onto them for any length of time, and what will we replace them with.

 

Winners hopefully, because no matter how much we'd like them to be, they certainly haven't show this season they are, just like last

 

I would sell him in January aye hes been good at Celtic Park a few games where he can pull off the odd great pass and goal now and again but when it comes to away games on smaller parks he struggles so take whatever we can the sooner the better....

 

Punt him and bring in one centre back.

 

Bring in Richard Dunne if we can get him for £4m. Put the £2m towards his wages.
