It is absolutely nothing to do with that. Simply just KFC is the known brand anyway rather than Kentucky Fried Chicken. Same with WWE which used to stand for World Wrestling Entertainment - it doesn't stand for anything now.

No, but every McDonalds chicken product being made of it is.

The word chicken appears on the KFC menu loads of times.

How do you know McDonalds do not make their chicken products with it?

    Let the people sing,
Big thing i heard about KFC is that they bleach their chicken. Quite believable as the products are awfully white for both the price and it being fast food. Also, water is used to expand the chicken to get more out the amount they are to sell? Again pretty believable as it is awfully juicy for both price and it being fast food.

Anyone tried the 99p spicy wings you can add to your order at KFC? I straight up refuse to believe that is chicken. :smiley-laughing002:

I now have even less trust than before of these food places after the whole horsemeat situation.

Because the evidence says they don't, whereas a Facebook picture says they do, I know which one I'd believe. I don't mean that in a snidely way, but with the sort of regulations there are nowadays do people seriously think they could say they're using 100% breast meat if they're using this lime stuff? Honestly?

I mean no one is (or should be) under any illusions that what they are getting in these places is the best quality stuff, but if it tastes good, and is reasonably priced then who cares, as long as they're up front about it.

These same regulations that stopped horse meat getting through? :smiley-laughing002:

McDonalds is a multi=billion doller company that strives to squeeze every penny out of everything to maximise profits. I you think that everything is above board then you must be extremely naive mate, maybe all these fast food companies have bucked up their ideas these days but who knows.

The amount of fuckery that goes on in this world today is complete madness.

In a sense I agree, cut if this was happening do you not think there would be more proof than this one picture that's been floating about Facebook for the past few years? McDonald's have denied it, they have said that they are using breast meat, if they were found to not be, then they'd be opening themselves up to all sorts of court action.

The horse meat thing is totally different, for all the media scaremongering, it's quite obviously just been a mistake somewhere, which hasn't harmed people. And again is only effecting those buying the absolute lowest quality * they can - which is always going to be really poor stuff. Granted people deserve to know what they're eating, but people who are truly concerned with quality aren't buying microwave lasagne.

Just had a quick browse there and yes that article is indeed bullshit :smiley-laughing002:

However McNuggets ingredients are Chicken McNuggets :
Chicken (45%), Coating [Vegetable Oil (Rapeseed, Sunflower), Wheat Flour, Water (8%), Maize Flour, Modified Starch, Raising Agents (Disodium Diphosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate), Whey Powder (from Milk), Flavour Enhancer (Potassium Chloride), Egg Albumen (Free Range Egg), Ground Pepper, Breadcrumb (Wheat Flour, Salt), Salt, Dextrose, Ground Celery], Water (7%), Potato Starch, Vegetable Oil (Rapeseed, Sunflower), Natural Flavouring (from Free Range Egg), Flavour Enhancer (Potassium Chloride). Prepared in the restaurants using a non-hydrogenated vegetable oil

still better off making your own :50:

That's where the problem lies. Millions of animals suffer in horrendous conditions to satisfy the market. Millions of tons is binned every day whilst millions starve because * refuse to wait for something to be cooked.

I don't give a * as long as I've got a burger in ma mitt within 5 minutes of entering the premises.

The one thing I do love about KFC is that they can use words like "feast" and "banquet" in total seriousness to describe their filthy food. Yeah when I think banquet I think dinner for 4 served from a bucket.
