To be fair I'm sure many people could say the same about Glasgow but it's my hometown so I'd rather live here than anywhere else and if I was in his situation of playing for a bigger club that won trophies and was in Europe and I had the chance to move back home I probably would despite Glasgow being a shithole to many

Nottingham is a bit of a shithole but it has good nightlife.

But yea, Glasgow is definitely superior.

As I said before, go and see how he got on against a physical striker. Because he was regularly bullied and dominated himself in these games. He was a decent centre half, nothing more, nothing less. He may well have looked better than he was because that has been an area where we have struggled in recent years.

Yes, I am sure about it.

He knew he was taking a step up when he moved from Forest to Celtic in 2011, otherwise he wouldn't have signed a pre-contract with us when he could easily have moved elsewhere (or even stayed with his beloved Forest).

Upon coming here he's realised that life away from his family isn't as easy to deal with as he probably thought it would be. Fair play to him, he gave it a crack, and has put his family first. You can't blame him for that.

Obviously now that he's moved he is going to come out with stuff that, to be quite honest, only the most gullible of fans are going to fall for.

He said that he experienced the highest points in his career at Forest? Even though he played against possibly the greatest team of all time, and directly competed against quite possibly the greatest player to ever play football on the biggest stage in club football?

Not only that, but he played in a team that beat them.

But yeah, playing for Forest against Ipswich Town, Coventry or whomever else you lot were playing on a weekly basis tops that.

I know that as a Forest fan you really want to believe that Wilson came home because he thinks that playing for your club is the be all and end all, and that everything else couldn't possibly compare, including playing for one of the biggest clubs in Europe in the Champions League against the likes of Benfica, Juventus and Barca, but if you have any kind of common sense you'll realise that it's simply not true.

Wilson played the game of his life against Barca. He was immense. Unfortunately he didn't really recreate that form too often, and was quite disappointing in his first season with us.

The Championship is definitely his level, and I'm sure he'll do well for a club like Forest.

Now that the big man is down the road, I wonder if he's had time to contemplate that he's probably won the last silverware of his career. I wonder if he'll think about those nights and the big SPL presentation days at CP and the finals at Hampden.

That's it for him, never mind what those deluded Forest fans are bumping their gums about and what a big team they are. Not going to win anything until after he retires. If they get lucky they might get into the PL - but that's it.

I do respect him for going back for the reasons stated, if true, but he's kidding no one here if he says he's back for footballing reasons.

To be honest, the type of team they were, it wouldn't have suited Wilson either. He tends to struggle against physical strikers.

Kick us when we're down, eh lad?

Kelvin was a good pro, and had a good season for us last year. Wish him all the best for the rest of his career. I'm sure he'll be a solid acquisition for Forest.

To be fair chap I wouldn't have felt the need to had some of the previous comments been a bit more balanced, but they weren't and for me this shows that "deluded" Forest fans aren't as deluded as some of your fans who's trump card in the "we're bigger than tinpot Forest" statement is that Celtic play in the Champions League. When playing in the Champions League is getting beat by part-time butchers it's not really a valid point is it?

However, you sound like a reasonable bloke and I don't wish Celtic any ill-will, I just wanted to point out that we're not as "tinpot" as some suggested, that the biggest delusions come from Lennon, and that those who suggested Wilson may miss the "glory" of Champions League footy may need to have a rethink after last night.

Dress it up any way you want about his family or whatever, but Forest's a great club for any player to be at, and Nottms a banging City to live in or near.

You are deluded, you think Forest will go the whole season unbeaten? You'll have those days this year, like every year, for every club, where you lose to Yeovil, or some League 2 side in a cup game.

Celtic have won of their 6 of their 7 games this season, 5 of which were in Europe. I don't think that's that bad in all honesty.

Infact, a defeat shows you more than a victory can in Celtic terms, as fans demand a win in literally EVERY game. Wilson, and many others before, could not handle that pressure. I really liked him, think he's a good defender and would have loved to have kept him, but he's gone back to what he knows and that safety net will allow him to play well more consistently.

He's also got the nice safety net of going back to a club and league where, a good few times a year, an away draw is a good thing. He'll feel like a huge boulder's been lifted off his shoulders.

850 minutes and counting since a goal was last scored against Wilson in a competitive game, probably a lot longer when you add in added on time over 9 games. Even if it was just 2 added minutes per game, 1 at HT and 1 at FT it would be around 870 minutes.

Has now conceded against Watford but couldn't do anything as it was a class freekick by Lewis McGugan.

He looks solid, gutted to see him playing this well TBH.
