Kelvin Wilson

Discussion in 'Ex Players' started by Sparkybhoy, Aug 1, 2011.

  1. Worst player on the pitch today.Looked alright in the first few games, but at Celtic, if you can't play against the Huns, then what's the point. If he does something similar in the next derby he can get to * in January.

  2. Agree but at the same time the ball should never have been allowed into the box .

  3. he was * disgraceful today. doesnt look up to the task at all!

some of the passes back to Forster were unbelievable!

  4. He was pretty poor but I like him. He's prone to lapses in concentration but I think he is a good defender.

We can't judge the player individually until we settle on a back 4, either Mulgrew/Wilson or Loovens/Wilson. (if Glenn continues to perform solidly)

  5. :97:

  6. Same can be said about loovens & i wouldnt like to hear your thoughts on him :38: :38: :38:
How come we are not on here talking about their new centrebacks well the reason his neil lennon played a shocking team

  7. I totally agree ehrn you see him walking out the tunnel it was like *

  8. Rabbit in the headlights today for me.

  9. One of the worst CB performances I've seen in a while. Thought he looked solid before and hope he can bounce back and become the commanding CB we desperately need.

  10. Don't think he is quite as bad as some are making out.

He needs a settled partner, in fact we need a settled back 4.

  11. I think he is a decent player but no question he had a nightmare today and the first goal was on him. Even worse as up to that the huns had been no threat at all. I think we will get a real measure of who Kelvin Wilson is with how he responds to todays horror show.

  12. Watched the game again and the first goal i would put the blame more at Kayal's door for letting them get a chance to put the ball in the box.

If he done his job the ball would never have come into the box he should have shut the player down instead of looking like he never gave a *.

  13. Kayal could have done more to stop the ball from coming in. But come on that attempted clearance was absolutely pathetic, shocking. The two backpasses to forster was also inexcusable. Maybe the occasion got to him, but that was just basic defensive errors he was making today

  14. I agree that Kayal could've done better but there's absolutely no excuses for a "clearance" like that. The only person to blame for the goal was Wilson.

  15. Loovens was much more committed and composed.

And if your not as good as Loovens then there is place for him at CP.

  16. This :50:

This and I could see it coming tbh. I thought he looked suspect in other matches but got away with it.

  17. Spot on. Loovens is our best defender:54:

  18. He was terrible yesterday, it's still early days though.

  19. Well I thought he looked all over the place in Madrid as well.
