He's now proved to himself and everyone else he can cut it as a Celtic player.

    I stand, massively, corrected.

    You and I both.

Actually feel quite embarrassed with the stick I gave him.

I always felt there was a player in there. It's nice to see him finally show consistency in his level of performance.

Really pleased for Kelvin and Mikael. Even more pleased that I don't need to defend them anymore.

His tackle against Messi last night was the best tackle I have ever witnessed a Celtic player dishing out; against the greatest player ever. He can give himself a pat on the back for that one.

Another excellent game last night (actually thought Ambrose was even more impressive, if I am being honest.)

Anyone got a clip of the tackle? A GIF needs to be made of it I think!

Wilson played really well, made some great challenges and always looked organised.

I would not say I'm 100% convinced but he's been playing well recently.

Maybe having Ambrose as his regular partner has helped him settle down and focus better?
I always thought that was his weakness.. lacked focus.
Whatever it is, long may it continue!

Messi never went off injured, so it wasn't QUITE the best I've seen........but it was * majestic!

His pace definitely shone through last night - as did Ambrose's.

Looking like a really good partnership already.

Think Mulgrew may have to re-train himself as a midfielder :56::56::56:

Mulgrew can play wherever the * he wants. Again, well done Lenny.

He can, but he was pretty poor last night in midfield.

(regardless of opposition) - although the goal came from his wonderful delivery, so I'll take it easy on him :56:

You raise a larger point about Mulgrew actually. The sad fact is that at present, he is not (for me) in our best starting 11.

Have to say that the first choice defenders now look to be Efe and Wilson (based on recent form anyway).

Mulgrew is the human equivalent of a Swiss-Army knife, but for me he is not a midfielder by any means - although he can do a turn there in case of an "emergency".

Superb last night again got it spot on. Initially thought starting him might've been a bad idea after rumours he had picked up a slight injury. Well done Kelvin.

It was almost a carbon copy of a John Kennedy tackle on the same stage.

Super stuff, cheered it like I would a goal.
