Similarly, it's his reaction to the pish performances and over-confident attitude that got him dropped last year that his actually endeared me to him this season. In a similar way that Forster's obvious dedication to improving himself as a player over the last couple of years has endeared me to him. :50:

Thought he had a fine display tonight. Really seems to have sorted his game out and is starting to understand what Celtic expects from the players.

All I can say really is well done and long may your form continue.

Kelvin Wilson would have been the most relieved man on the pitch last night.

He made another mistake and it cost us a goal. I thought he played quite well overall though and he's had a good season so far, so we can let him off with that one.

I'm with you on that Tab. Word for word, in fact. Overall did well, but you could see the look on his face at full time told its own story - one that said "thank *" if truth be told!:smiley-laughing002:

He was caught out for the first goal, but his reaction to it was top class, forget about it and keep going. Really starting to warm to him, i think the European style of football as well really suits him.

On reflection, it was a class ball by the Moscow lad, an even better first touch to bring it into the path of Emineke. Whilst I was gutted and of course Kelvin let it fly over his head, based on his recent performances he can be allowed that. He's growing into this now and shows real confidence. After that mistake he was fantastic for me. One of the best out there, in a sea of great performances. Lustig even better, but Wilson held firm and remember Efe is new: Kelvin has to help him settle as he's been there longer - not a good understanding with each other yet, still we recorded a famous win.

I know that nobody is really giving him too much of a hard time but I don't think it was solely his fault. The ball from Kallstrom was pinpoint and the cutback was brilliant. I think Izzy should have been tucking in a little as well cause Wilson was moving towards Emineke.

I don`t think he can be blamed either for that goal. It was absolute perfection from Spartak. 90% of the time, that goal wouldn`t have happened. It was unreal passing from Kallstrom and unreal technical ability by Ari to set it up for Eminike. Barcelona would have been proud of that goal

I agree. You could argue that Wilson should have reacted quicker to actually get in front of Eminike and cut out the ball across, but it was a world class ball and a world class touch from Ari. Almost undefendable.

I believe Lennon stuck by him as it was him that wanted him,no scouts involved.they played together at notts forest and he clearly picked up on his potential.i think he could end up being a great for us

I was really excited when we signed him on the pre season, and really anticipated a good strong defender that we were craving.

Disappointed beyond belief last season. This season he seems to have dropped his attitude and over confidence and appears to be playing a whole lot better for it. I believe he thought he could walk into this team when he arrived, but has learnt how we play as a unit and for each other.

The bhoy is at a good age, 27, and he'll do well at Celtic if he keeps his head down and keeps plugging away.

Always amazes me when I think about how young this team is. Wilson is regarded as one of the most experienced players and he's only 27. Samaras, Brown and Commons are 28, I think, and could all play until they are in their mid to late 30s. Fantastic.

players like him shows that we have to let new recruits bed in. he has been great this season. most improved player so far this season.

if he keeps it up and Ambrose is the defender we all dream him to be, centre back options of Ambrose, Wilson, Rogne and Mulgrew could be great.

I don't think his attitude was right last year on the park. He is starting to play well and it's about time tbh
