Can you remember a time when he has stood out as playing really well like? His decision to let the ball go over his head in the middle of six yard box in the last 5 minutes of a cup final was absolute madness, wouldn't expect to see that from a 10 year old kid ffs

I think he has problems with his performance while under immense pressure like Rangers and Cup finals.

I'm not condoning his * performances mate, just saying that's only 2 examples you can pick out. Now granted, 2 is 2 too many for a team like Celtic, especially when they were both massive games, but it's only 2 out of probably more than 20.

I honestly can't remember him making a really bad mistake in all his other games, and like I said i've gone from not liking him to being relatively impressed by him.

He's not better than Charlie or Rogne, but compared to Maj he's * Maldini.

there has been plenty of games where he has stood out and I have thought to myself this fella looks a player. He made a mistake it happens in football, he is still a young lad and needs to step up for the bigger games that you get when playing for Celtic.

Charlie Mulgrew has made shockers this season too but ya dont hear me screaming hes not good enough for the hoops pish we hear after someone has a bad game.

I actually like Wilson and agree with most of your comments but I actually think that we needed somebody like Maj on Sunday. You can bet his head would have been on any cross coming into the box and he would have told everyone to get their finger out.

His other ones aren't really major, more small stupid ones, however they will cost us eventually. I think it's just because he has relatively poor concentration levels. I agree though, he is a far better option than maj overall. He can't be trusted to play in big games.

He is though our quickest CB , which does help, as it showed when he * up in the first half on sunday but managed to get back in time to make the challenge. I just don't feel confident when he is playing

For me, Rogne is our most competent defender in the air, and he's much smaller and younger than Maj which says a lot.

The thing I like about our defence (when not being *!!) is their ability to get the ball down and move it out rather than just hoofing it, only for the ball to come straight back down the park again. I think Wilson is second only behind Charlie in terms of his "footballing" ability, in that sense.

Like i've said sometimes he's impressed me and sometimes, like on Sunday, i've been going mad, so how and if he bounces back will ultimately determine my opinion on him.

The whole team were * on Sunday, except Forster, but we know their qualities and potential and let most of the off the hook, knowing that they will repay our faith.
Let's just hope Wilson and the rest repay that faith with an epic hunskelping at Mordor this week!

I agree with you. He looks like he has potential to be a good footballing CB but he has to raise his concentration levels.

Hope he has a nice view from the bench on Sunday.

If he's playing I will drive to Ibrox, run on the park with a bat, and kneecap him, just so he doesn't play :31:

You may not be a fan of the guy, but that is a terrible thing to say about any player, let alone one of ours. :38:

I think a lot of the criticism is harsh on Wilson. His part in the goal was poor on Sunday but he looked comfortable until then and has done anytime I've seen him, obviously apart from the Huns game at Ibrox but bigger and better players have froze in their OF debut.

Don't even want him on the bench. Would rather Loovens or rely on Wanyama as the backup.

My money would be on Maj punching the ball away with his fists or heading it straight to a Kilmarnock player 5 yards away.
