Kelvin Wilson

He will be the main-stay in our defence this year. I'm not sure Lennon knows who should partner him yet, starting with Loovens is concerning.

 

Him and Mulgrew will make a great partnership.

 

Think he will be a great player for us. Big, strong, pacey and he can also play a bit. Good signing

Still a bit early tbh, but he seems quick and not bad with challenges, time will tell though...

 

Still to early to say to much about him, but he's done ok from what i've seen. I agree with some earlier posts, I would like to see Wilson and Mulgrew as the back as well.

 

Seems a fairly solid player and good in the air - something we've been missing in defence.

 

I hope that's what Lennon goes for. Tired of seeing Maj.

 

Impressed me so far, hope he keeps getting better.

Wilson says the size of Celtic and their support has blown him away.

 

K. Wilson is not bad, but he needs to work on his positioning. Too many times I have seen him too far from the other CB. Hopefully this will get better with time and NL will find some solid partnership between Kelvin and Loovens/Majstorovic/Mulgrew.

 

We need to remember he is a bit rusty yet not played for months and was frozen out at Forest. Looks the part and fast across the ground which we have been sadly missing.
Sometimes new players bring out the best in others I am hoping he does this with Glenda as this seems to be Lenny's preferred pairing.
Reserve judgement till we get into the season but first impression is good !!

Haven't been too impressed with Kelvin Wilson to date I must say.
Not the sort of commanding assured centre back I was hoping we would get.
His positioning is not the best and he does a lot of ball watching, instead of attacking the ball.

Opinions ?

 

I've been impressed with him but I don't know if that's because he's good or because Majstorovic and Loovens are just so * that anybody can look good next to them.

 

I think hes been fine, doesnt get caught out for pace or give away silly fouls like Caldwell, McManus, Majstorovic or Loovens which is a bonus.

 

Get your glasses on is my opinion our best ch by a mile
