Keith Andrews is no better than what we already have, I wouldn't sign him. We need a striker and maybe a centre half, we are covered in midfield.

Maybe? Tbh, imo we really need centre-half much more than a striker.

If hes free and is on ok wages i think we should. Considering a number of our midfield will be leaving in the summer it wouldnt do us any harm.

I honestly don't get why the * we would sign a 31-year-old central midfielder, when we have central midfielders coming out our ears already, and all of them (possible exception of Scott Brown) are better than him.

I think the Express are just linking us with him because he is Irish - just like we get linked with practically every half-decent Irish player, every year.

Unless we're planning to offload a few midfielders this deal is a non-starter. Never seen the guy, could be a good player, but surely a midfielder who's by the sounds of it no better than what's available (and certainly no younger) would be a step in the wrong direction? It would also contradict our recent transfer policy.

Brown is better than him too, I don't get the attitude of some Celtic fans about Brown.

Absolutely pointless signing when we have Brown, Kayal, Wanyama and Ki who can do a better job.

No signing is pointless if you think they would fit into the team and add quality. It's not about numbers

Well if there's five guys in front of him competing for two positions, then he won't be fitting into the team very often...

I would assume if he's a target then Lennon doesn't see 5 players in front of him...

He's got a good motor, could fit in well to the spl.

I'd sell McCourt, McGinn and KI.

Agree on that, as I also think those three are going so Andrews would be a good acquisition for us. I hope we get him signed after the Euros and he comes through them unscathed, and I am sure there will be other teams after him.

Playing tonight for Eire against Hungary at half 7. I doubt Trap will let him go past the half way line so probably isnt the best game for you doubters to judge him on.
