There you go again peddling this pish.

so, if everyone is so blindingly pro-everything-Irish, then why are there plenty of people in here who do not want him at the club?

Utter garbage once again from you.

I don't hate Ireland?. The only thing that annoys me is how Irish people overrate Irish players. Some of the comments on this page would easily make people think he's Xavi; he's gash. Honestly as soon as we're linke with a * Irish player automatically people say "Yes please" weird how people would rather him over Henriksen.

Back on topic. Would you describe any of these disabled horses as a "target man"?

I only said he wasnt as bad as a whole lot of people are making out, not that he was absolutley brilliant or anything like that.

Some other Irish lads said more or less the same, Just because we reckon he isnt * * dosent mean overating.

I think you're looking at the situation wrong. Andrews is most likely a replacement, for Ki most likely, and I think that'd be a really good deal. He's experienced, a decent player, and this 'swap' would give us more money to spend where we need it.

Who overates Irish players? I've only seen one or two people say yes to him coming and I dont think they were Irish ?

Please quote the comments that would make people think he's like Xavi aswell. As I've said a few times, he is an ok player, not pish as people are saying, but I wouldnt really want us to sign him, we have enough midfielders and he wouldnt be an improvement.

Solid player, very disciplined and can run all day. But we have players in that ilk who are superior.

Most people have said No to Andrews, and your posts are littered with digs at irish people

We don't want to start just 'hoof'-ing the ball forward though, do we?

plenty of poor players ply their trade in the Premiership and for the Irish national team. Paul McShane is in the Irish squad ffs.

Paul Mcshane is living off the fact he played for man united, which is ridiculous. Andrews is a far better footballer than Mcshane. Scored 9 goals in 20 appearances in the championship this season, from midfield that is good. Works tirelessly and is a decent passer of the ball. If anything the way Ireland play makes whelan and Andrews look worse than they are, they are both decent players.

Match reports I've read about him he's always been solid in midfield.

You and others may mock the Irish squad all you want but we did qualify for the Euros.

Its not for a lack of irish talent that McShane is in the squad, and you know that. There are three or four quality players being left out so Trap can bring his mate Paul with him.
