He's some player. I'd love for us to sign him, but I don't know what the likelihood of us pulling it off is. A quick Google search brings up something about Bolton being favourites to sign him

 

He was more than decent, it's a pity the rest of the team couldnt play with the determination and effort he did.

He put on a good show at the Euro's but still a no for me, wouldn't be upset if he signed but not over the moon either

In any case, the idea that we need a 32-yr-old central midfielder doesn't really compute for me.
We've got good quality central midfielders coming out our ears. It's the one area of our team - once the goalkeeper situation is sorted - that we don't even need backup in.

Thought he had a solid Euros and I'm not a fan. However, we don't need him. His over-reaction at the end was a bit daft too. Major ban probably.

No thanks, probably irelands best player in the tournament but thats not saying much tbh. Weve got plenty of dog fighters in our midfield most if not all are better with the ball. We should be looking to bring in creative quality at this stage rather than a journeyman.

 

He's like Paul Hartley but quite a bit better.

In the same way I can understand the reaction. He was raging at the performance, and the decision. How many people on here love Lenny for his fire & passion? Almost all of us.

Before the EUROs everyone was saying "this guy's *" but I watched him for the 1st time this tournament and he impressed me, even though Ireland were * overall.

Having said that, I don't think there is any way he can be better than Wanyama, Ledley or Kayal, and is probably on a par with Brown.

So I don't really want him, but wouldn't be distraught with his signing and he's certainly a lot better than he was made out on here and than I assumed he would be.

 

I don't see the harm in adding his experience to the squad. I'd sign him on a 1 year contract with the option of adding a second if he impressed.

 

He could do a similar job to what Neil Lennon done when he was a player here.

 

He's on his way to Bolton anyway.
