I'm not knocking your opinion as such, just how you randomly pop up in threads that has * all to do with Brown to remind us of how much you don't like him.

its just why get rid of your better class of player, when there are more costly ones with less ability getting more plaudits.

I am not eager to see the back of him, and frankly, some of the feeling towards him from our supporters is maddening. He'd best leave, if this is how a great deal of our support feel.

I don't understand it, myself. I think he's a sublime footballer. Garbage continuing to be spouted such as concerning his fitness is laughable.

Move on, and enjoy yourself, Paddy.

A great talent and I'd love to see him prove people wrong.

But I just don't see him hanging about,.

Would hate to see him leave, but if someone came in with a £1mil bid, I think we should take it.

What is 1 million to us? We are not them. I wouldn't be surprised if that is the type of figure we're being given for the Real Madrid fixture alone.

A million for a squad player, who is never fit enough to play 90 minutes, sounds like a good deal to me. Although I do like Paddy, his fitness has always been a problem and is probably the reason why he rarely starts even cup games.

Did he even score a goal for us last season?

Don't think he did, but then again he didn't start a game either.

He's worked hard to get his fitness back and he can play full games no problem he just isn't given the chance.

Paddy can do stuff that no other player in our squad can do, for that reason alone, I'd keep him.

The idea that McCourt is the most talented player in our squad is ridiculous. Kayal, Forrest, Ledley, Brown, Hooper, Stokes etc. are all more tallented than McCourt. He is one of, if not the best dribbler in our squad. He doesn't offer an awful lot else though. People will no doubt say 'no way is Kayal more talented than McCourt'. He is far more talented than McCourt, in my opinion of course. Kayal is quite a good passer (admittedly not the best), a fantastic tackler, a good leader (well able to take the bull by the horns) and is consistent. That all involves a great deal of talent.

Paddy McCourt has more raw talent than most players in our sqaud, that doesn't mean he is a better player however. Paddy's movement, dribbling, vision and the ability to pass the ball is better than most in our squad IMO.

His defensive side isn't really up to scratch but his compusure, shooting, passing, dribbling etc are all up there with the best in the squad. It baffles me how he doesn't play more of a part in our team, especially when we need that extra little something to turn a draw into a victory.

Sell him. He may not command great wages but what's the point in keeping a player that never starts a game or can never last a full ninety minutes.

He can last 90 minutes. Demonstrated that many times.
