    was petrov but now McManus
7 million is a good price, the problem these days is that with all the money in england prices for players have inflated far too much than what they are actually worth. I mean in england peter crouch is worth 8 million aparently..what a load of *. I would rather celtic went into the eastern and african markets and maybe they will unearth another jem.

fair play they got different roles. petrov is very important for our offense. keano is a bit the player lennon is. would be grand to see them both on the pitch (K and L) but i doubt that.

keane would cost in excess of £6million on his own,as for keane or petrov both play different roles within a team it would more likely be between keane or lennon

Although, in saying that, Keane's contract is ending in the summer is it not? Maybe try and tie up a pre-contract with him

Selling Petrov is just a crazy idea, we'd be lost without him, he's the engine of our team. A player of his ability is very unlikely to be found for 6 million.

You must be a sad c**t to even contemplate keane ahead of Petrov

    Keane is an *
and Celtic should NEVER consider some dork who's at the end of their carreer

Keep Petrov we have young talet coming though Mcgeady , Bettie , Moloney etc. So keep Petrov is better than keane he is to old.

    How's about a more realistic poll -
    1.Keep Petrov
2.when Thompson, Agathe, Varga,Lennon, and a combination of either, or possibley all of Hartson/Sutton/Telfer leave in the summer we have no money to replace them.

we must keep stan he is the next celtic captain in my opinion(he really should be captain now)
keane was a good player, stress the word "was "he is past it now and prone to injury
also i feel keane would be a disruptive influence in the celtic dressing room

We'll have to rely on some youth players.

Varga and Thompson have no future at the club. Lennon, Telfer, Sutton & Harston don't have another season in them despite their current form. Although I reckon GS will extend some of those contracts. I'd only do it if they took a massive wage drop.

Agathe will leave if he doesnt get some games.

Keane was a world class midfielder, best in his position, now he's just a really good player. I dunno how people think he's injury prone. He broke his foot, its not a recurring injury problem.

Keane was dead right to slate the players for the Boro performance, it worked didnt it? They beat Chelsea.

I not Keane's biggest fan, for getting sent home from the world cup, BUT he had very good reasons for compaining. He doesnt complain about stupid things he complains when things are gone completely arseways. He's not Anelka

if mr keane is such a good motivator of his fellow team mates and not injury prone (tell me the last time he played consecutively for 1 month)
then why has the bawbg fae govan terminated his contract????:celt_2:

Yes, Keane is a excellent motivator. By your definition of injury prone, Maciej is injury prone. Should we flog him off in january and release john kennedy on a free?
