I believe the Emilio rumour doing the rounds, as there is no way Fergie was there on a freezing cold day just to take in the game in person. Kayal sounds a bit far fetched now that I think about it. Until I see it in one of the decent newspapers, it's nonsense.

Kayal is good but has done nothing to prove he is better than Fletcher at all , and * me he is nothing like Paul Scholes either.

Do not buy this * i do not think there will be any real interest they will just have taken the fact Fergie was at the huns game and first it was izzy , Brown , kayal now , Mc * of the huns will be next.

Kayal has been excellent here for us he will stay here and continue to impress and might move maybe 2 or 3seasons later but if any luck him and Izzy will love it here and want to stay.

Seriously now, belive me mates, I know you are all crazy about Kayal and all agreed he is supreb footballer and stuff...
Well, maybe your ears might hate it, but Kayal isn't the player that Celtic fans have made him. (I'm not saying it for nothing, I saw Kayal playing since he was 16 so I guess I know a few things...)
I mean, Kayal he's no doubt a talented young player who surely can succeed in the future and all, but this and transfering to MAN U for 8mil pounds?!
Someone has to be crazy to think this one is no more than a hallucinatory idea.

I was hoping it was McShagger he was there to watch but it could have been Izzy aswell. Definitely dont think it was Kayal though.
As for the Kayal v Fletcher argument I might be being biased here but I'd have oor Beram over Fletcher any day :icon_mrgreen::50:

Theres nothing clouding my judgement mate so no point trying to hint at it, kayals my favourite player but even i know he hasnt proven himself up against qaulity midfields yet so im not going to be comparing him to other proven top qaulity players anytime time soon regardless of who they play for.

With all due respect, he is a Celtic player now and we are all fully aware of his capabilities as a footballer.

The 16 year old kid you seen is not the midfield powerhouse that is dominating games for Celtic on a weekly basis.

We've all seen Fletcher and his abilities, especially in the big games, for years now but in Kayal we have a centre mid that has no apparent flaws in his game other than a slight rashness at times. He has creativity, vision, tenacity, weight of pass, excellent tackling and an unrivalled enthusiasm to win. I have no doubts whatsoever he'll be strutting his stuff in the Champions League if not for Celtic then for another European giant.

(referring to Kayal being better than Fletcher)

    X2. My thoughts exactly.

How can anyone say he is better than Fletcher after seeing him play for about 2/3 months. Who knows he may end up being better...but wait a couple of years....Fletcher has been top drawer in the EPL and the Champions League these past few years and to compare him at the moment with Kayals couple of good months...in the SPL, is pure mental. Some of the stuff our fans have been saying recently on these forums is baffling to me. Almost face-palm embarrassing.

Folk saying Izzy is worth 20 million and is the the 4/5th best LB in the world. HELLO! A FEW GOOD MONTHS IN THE SPL DOES NOT MAKE YOU THAT. He is playing against borderline * week in week out) compared to Serie A, La Liga, EPL etc).

I just wish we could sit back a bit and have some reasoned debate about our players, rather than seeing them play good football for a few months and pure * ourselves to death over them calling them world beaters all of a sudden.

Maybe I had a grammar mistake...
I didn't mean I saw Kayal playing when he was 16, what I meant is Iv'e been watching Kayal playing since he was 16 (which means, until now and also in the close and far future...). Hope that point is clear now.
About his current abilities, we might not see the same, but even if your'e right at all what you said about him, I still don't think that he deserves to wear the MAN UNITED shirt, at least not yet.

I would be expecting the same amount he payed for Anderson, think Kayal is as good if not better.

    so...

    izaguirre to man u - £8 million
    kayal to man u - £8 million
    brown to man u - £12 million

    total - £28 million

i know the stories are bollocks but, in all seriousness, surely we would be able to buy better players than those 3 with £28 million, especially with our current eye for a good player.

im not saying i would deal at this but it would be very tempting.

How do you know he wasn't looking at players the other times he was there? He's doing the same thing the manager of the national teams do. They go to the games and see which players catch their eye.
