Not read anything about it, I was under the impression we are just letting him go.

    I’m disappointed if he’s leaving.

    He’s an overrated hype job.

Think he believed in his own hype tbh didn't accept a contract offer earlier and it was pretty clear when Ange had him playing for the B squad that he was for the off. No biggie imo.

Had a bad injury so the jury is still out, I wouldn't be against giving him a one year deal

Pretty sure that if he was beating down Ange's door for a contract renewal and showing the effort in training he'd be getting an extension. Fact he's viable for all the home grown/developed criteria and not being actively chased is probably very telling towards his attitude.

Unless of course there's something happening behind the scenes we don't know of. Just seems unlikely now...

Yeah! Ralston-esque last chance extension... Especially if Forrest is on the wain. There's definitely a player there, just all down to effort and attitude now... Otherwise, good luck and thanks.

Even if he were to sign an extension he would have to go out on loan somewhere next season he ain't getting a game ahead of maeda, abada,Forrest or jota(quietly optmistic) Christ Johnston is probably ahead of him .

He's going to end up much the same as that Islam Feruz. He was going to be a superstar too apparantly. Spent his whole youth career with Celtic. The club took care of him and all his family aswell....he walked out and went to Chelsea and I think he ended up on loan at Hibs at one point. Has done nothing ever since

I doubt someone his age....promise, possibly ego (given early hype), would likely agree to a 1 year contract, I wouldn't expect him to either.

He's 19 no? Not 39..., if he leaves, he leaves, I'd have loved to have seen him turn out in the hoops and make an impact like KT, but injuries aside he just doesn't seem to making an impression at a senior level.

Don't hold anything against him for leaving if he does and wish him the best, but if no deal has been struck by now, its never getting agreed with Celtic.

Shame, but hey ho...we move on.

He still has bags of ability from what I've seen. I just get the impression his heart isn't in it here anymore. Without that injury pre season I think he gets a dozen to 20 games last season and prob all parties happy to sign a new deal. The way it's transpired I think he's become frustrated and maybe that's affected his attitude. Won't say it too often with one of our prodigy's but I think on this occasion it's better for his development if he moves elsewhere. I don't think the game time is here for him anymore.

No point in giving him a 1 year deal. If he does well, he leaves for free and we end up spending time developing a player for someone else.

Still to score a senior goal seemingly flunked all his money on gambling machines meant to be never out of paddy power next to central station

And never will do, supposed to have quit football in 2020 in order to pursue selling designer sports caps.

It is, I always want to see youth do well here, for whatever reason though not many seem to make the jump to senior level from the youth set up.
