he dived alright, hopefully Lenny has a wee word in his ear, I love him as a player but I hate to see anyone doing that especially when they're representing the hoops. Maloney goes down FAR too easily for my liking too, wish he would just stay on his feet and try to create instead of crumpling into a heap!

He didn't dive, but he looked as if a missile had blown him to pieces. A bit of overreaction.

they do this every week now, after celtic play the media will watch through the 90mins win, lose or draw and try to find something to attack the players or club with whether it be bad tackles, diving, offside goals, or songs our fans sing. yes he dived hopefully lennon will have a word, no big deal.

That's a bit stupid considering it is there before your eyes he did brush past him on the way down

It was 100% a dive, extremely Petrovesque actually. Was neither a free kick or a booking but it happened, didn't effect the game and the most Juarez should get is a slap on the wrist for it not some massive diving debate.

Dive, definitely. It's hypocritical, considering the forum went wild when Eduardo dived (may I add, in match where result wasn't that important, we were outplayed anyway) and now when our player dives it gets overlooked (where result was indeed at stake). I hate it when our lads go that low and roll for few seconds more to waste time. Against Killie as well.

Also, I'd like to point out that few weeks ago we won at Fir Park when Maloney fell like he was shot which resulted in red card for opponent and eventually win.

Yep, and it was that brush that i initially thought had took him out but obviously not. There is contact but i thought he dodged it but was then brought down by Hamills 'brush'. Have to say though i said all along that the aftermath was a bit daft. Even if he did dive to dodge the challenge, there was no need for the rolling about.

hmmm. Well even if we were outplayed, you still want a fair game. Even if there was only 1% chance (for example) of us scoring to recover in the game, that penalty took it away unfairly.

Of course, it was a dive and we didn't deserve that treatment, regardless of result.

However, in Kilmarnock game and even in Motherwell opponents didn't deserve it where they were just one goal away from a point and all three. There was slight chance they could've scored and took something from the game, nevermind how impossible that might be.

I watched the match and saw several replays. Let me say this: I hate diving. I think it's ridiculous and I hope more people get red cards when they legitimately do it. That said, I don't know that you can call this a dive, per se. To me a dive is when a player flails to the ground when absolutely no contact has been made. I think it's a small distinction, but one that has to be made. Often I see players who exaggerate contact to draw calls. Though I wouldn't do it (and still don't, I play twice a week) I understand why some players do. There is usually little reward for fighting through a foul near the box. Often you lose possession and the ref won't call anything since you didn't hit the deck. I hate that, but that's how it is.

Watching Juarez yesterday, he did what all Mexican players do: he exaggerated contact. It probably was a slight foul, and he made it seem like he just got shot by a sniper. I don't like that he held his leg. That's over-the-top. But, the fact he went down does nothing to make me think less of the player.

I don't think they can take further action as he was booked. As for Juarez, yep there was minimal contact if any but Petrov done the same thing sometimes. We seem to forget that.

SFA should take away his yellow card, Lennon should fine juarez some wages and tell him to cut it out and everyone should just get on with it after that.

    All right Jim"GER"bhob:38:

We aren't a team of divers, unlike kyle lafferty.

We do need to be more ruthless, killie tried to boot us off the park as did hearts and the huns will do the same, when the ref isnt protecting the players, they have to jump out of the way or they will end up getting a bad injury.

The guys legs were high and Juarez never tried to get him booked, so whats the big deal??

i couldnt care less if he dived, after all the tackles they were getting away with. The guy never went for the ball!!

these guys need to catch a grip. they didnt make this much of a deal on lafferty and mcgregor * sake. it was a dive but c'mon, it wasnt as if we got a penalty or anything. Lenny will tell them all to knock it on the head.:50:
