    He starts the majority of league games for Colo Colo but often doesn't finish them. He also started a few games in the Libertadores but didn't play the full game in any of them.

    If he wasn't starting the majority of league games in Chile you would have to have second thoughts. Of course you can point to the big names that have come out of Chile recently but the league itself if still behind Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Colombia right now.

    The cynic in me thinks we're being used to force other clubs to spring into action.

    I wouldn't be surprised if Cruz Azul are the only club with genuine interest.

    Chilean journalist says that Celtic did make an offer and it's not just his agent using Celtic to get other clubs interested, he also says that we gave them 10 days to decide whether to accept our offer.
