    Journo for the Daily Record.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's a load of bollocks to be fair.

The Chilean national team in the world cup is exactly how I think we are trying to set out. Bullying teams off the with constant pressing off the off and direct attacking play the moment you win the ball back. Constant pressure. I'd happily take anyone who is part of that team. Always good to have a player who international team is setting up similar to us. As for the player himself no clue.

If the video is anything to go by then I'd rather not have him. In the entire video he beats two men, every other time he's Turning back and passing.

Too many verified accounts on Twitter have said that a bid has been made for there to not be at least some truth in it, there's no doubt that the club have said there has been a bid, whether they're lying about the bid is a different question altogether.

I thought the whole reason we didn't go for non EU players from clubs outside the EU is because its hard to get a work permit? (I know, Rogic, but Aussie's have it easier because they are a colony).

Especially seeing as he only has 2 caps, it might be hard. I think Izzy had quite a lot of caps, which makes it easier. Remember we had to take the Koki Mizuno case to court and *? Was allowed a permit on the basis that he was an 'extraordinary talent' or something, haha. I thought he was pretty decent tbf.

Work Permits are not a problem in the slightest for us, we would probably get one for any player we wanted. People assume that for some reason and always say it "its easy for Portuguese clubs to sign Brazilians because they dont need work permits" but in reality we'd never get knocked back for a work permit for anyone we wanted, its only an annoyance to have to get them considering they always take a few weeks but theres really absolutley no chance we'd ever get turned down.

For us to get a player one we really only need to prove that we think they'd be good value for money and are better than we can get in Scotland... which given the size of company we are with the players we have it's pretty obvious that we wouldnt be wanting the player if he wasn't very good.

Work Permits are harder to get in England because there are a lot of good players already in England so to prove buying X 21 year old Mexican with 2 caps for £10million is more value for money than buying Danny Ings or Gary Hooper is more difficult, so English teams regularly get knocked back.

It sounds simple but it isn't, we had Jackson Martinez signed up and he got knocked back for a work permit. Yet Koki Mizuno got through.

It's * like Fraser Wishart and Pat Nevin who sit on the panel :56:

I'll try and find a link, I'm sure it was WGS last year in charge.

    * off, no way - we could have had Jackson Martinez? And we got a knock back, no danger man - how can they judge that?

Starting to doubt myself on that one, can't find it on Google. I'm * sure though, it came from Martinez's agent, talking about how work permits are daft in Britain.

How can you judge the potential of a player? The panel can see into the future.

'Why would you buy Jackson Martinez when you can have Calum Ferguson?'

I don't know if we ever bid for Martinez but were linked him and James under Mowbray.
