Is he * a Miss Netherlands as well?

 

I don't know what to make of him.

I've only seen a handful of his games, but I don't remember him putting a foot wrong. I think with him and Sviatchenko we'll have a calm and composed central defence who can both bring the ball out from the back.

This pairing lacks the pace and power of Virgil/Denayer, though, and the amount of time Jozo spent out has to be a concern.

 

He looks decent, still backs off too much and doesn't get the first tackle in quick enough for me yet, but hopefully a good partnership between him and Erik is ti come.

Jozo is only 21, that right?

Needs to beef up but is a real cool customer and quite composed..

 

I think so. Signs are promising for a young fella, especially his debut in the Amsterdam ArenA - looked very comfortable at that level.

Looks like he reads the game well, is very calm and is good on the ball. But I really did like the speed and power we had at the back with Van Dijk and Denayer.

Getting knee surgery.

 

Nothing he's just had Knee surgery this week

 

Hopefully that'll fix all his issues then.

Knowing our luck he will have to retire due to injury, guy did look ok but sometimes dives in at the last minute when he could deal with situations earlier

 

he was playing with a Broken Bone in his Knee for 2 months so that didn't help things.

 

Blame Crow I was only guessing

 

Gotta say at least shows he can play through the pain, unlike Derk who'd phone an ambulance for a grazed knee.
