Welcome to Celtic Jozo, please be brilliant. There is a big chance for him to be a fans' favourite so nervous are we about Virgil leaving. Always exciting waiting to see how players are going to turn out.

He must be pretty good though considering how long we've been looking at him.

A back 4 of Janko/Boyata/Simunovic/Blackett would be incredibly athletic: strong, tall, and fast. For a guy who just turned 21, Jozo has an imposing frame, and it looks like he can move. Granted, the decision-making/positioning of the group is unknown. But, if it turns out that those aspects need work, those areas can be improved through coaching. It's not ideal with Europa games around the corner, but I feel like the group has a high ceiling. Hopefully Ronny can get them there.

Does this mean we'll be able to defend a corner?

5.25 million apparently. Most we have spent on a player since 2001, and one of our most expensive players

There is absolutely no way we spent that on a transfer fee.

The whole deal worth 5.25m maybe (wages and transfer fee).

3rd most expensive defender in our entire history then, followed by Joos Valgaeren at £3m, and Virgil at £2m+

Looking forward to seeing this big yin in the Hoops, cannie wait to see the mock-outrage on here when he makes his first mistake.

Welcome to Celtic Jozo - I hope you've brought your thick skin suit with you........

Think Valgaeren cost £3.8million, Stubbs also cost about £4million as well. He's atleast one of the top 4 most expensive though.

Well, what's the point in anyone ever bringing up the transfer fee saga? I hear people constantly bump their gums about how we don't sign anyone over £3 million, or £5 million, and when the media report that we have the reaction is "naw, we didnae! The papers are fibbing!!"

Sometimes I think people are just looking for an excuse to moan like *.
