He's a bit like Efe for me: there's a lot of really good aspects to his game and he's nowhere near as terrible as folk make out; but there are some systematic weaknesses that somehow never seem to get ironed out and he is definitely prone to gaffes when his confidence is low.

Just like Efe back in the day, those two things mean he isn't good enough for Celtic; but just like Efe he's not at all the terrible player some folk see. I could genuinely see him doing a good job for Aberdeen, Hibs or Hearts or even in the English Championship.

And just like Efe, it all feels like a bit of a waste. Some players seem to work on their weaknesses and reach their potential, like Bobo Balde did; and others seem to spend their whole careers making the same mistakes and never learning, like Efe and Jozo.

For me, the jury's still out on which camp Ajer is in.

We need to spend Julien or maybe Eddy money on a CB to push this man further down the pecking line or preferably out the door. We will be a far better team all round with a reliable CB to partner Ajer and Julien in a 3.

Good observation re he plays the easiest role in that back three and still comes out with the worst stats.

Shouldn't play again for us, punt him in the summer and go back for Benkovic.

Should definitely go in the Summer.

Can't play 3 games in a week, can't stay fit and has consistently let us down with awful decision-making at key moments. In no way does he deserve a new contract.

Hopefully can con a team into paying £3-4million for him, despite him being a brainless bombscare and injury prone he is stll young 24 I think and has won allsorts and has good experience. Think hes won the League every season of his career 6/7 medals and he's played in and won about 7 Cup finals as well.

Thought he was out of contract this Summer but he has another year, * me.

I wondered why Lennon was talking him up and protecting him so much. With his injury record I'm not sure any team would pay good money for him.

With Jozo Simunovic struggling with his ongoing knee problem.

The Hoops boss admitted the Croatian is unlikely to be risked on the plastic pitch at Almondvale but he has backed the centre half to recover from his Europa League howler in the shock 3-1 defeat to Copenhagen last week.

Lennon said: “Will Jozo bounce back? Absolutely. We got it back to 1-1 so that didn’t cost us the game. It was the game management in the two minutes after we score that cost us.

“We were all culpable for that. I didn’t need to have a chat with him. We spoke this morning, about life in general, and he’s in a good place.

“His knee is not responding quite as we’d like so he’s a major doubt for Wednesday.

Given lennon usually has a good eye for a decent defender the fair he's has and continues to show in this guy is baffling.

While I don't expect him to throw him under a double decker in the media a la slippy, those comments are concerning.

I'm addition to all his faults technically the guy has the heart of a mouse, constantly down with a knock/strain, never seen a centre back like it.

Should never play again and be punted in the summer to any * daft enough to take him and then go out and spend the money to find Jullien a proper partner to play with next season.

He's here till at least the end of the season and he might have to play a part. Good man management from Lenny.

Jozo scoring in the 67th minute last season, the week that King Billy died, makes him a legend for me.
