    I wonder if we'll possibly be looking to bring another CB in for a couple of months, Elhamed can play there well but i'd rather he be at RB.

    With Frimpong looking a serious option for RB then we could move Elhamed in until January if needed and have Bauer/Frimpong RB.

    Really need to get another CB in January though. Bitton and Jozo just aren’t reliable.

    NEIL LENNON has revealed Jozo Simunovic faces up to four months out.

    The Hoops defender went under the knife for an arthroscopy procedure on his knee earlier this month.

    Simunovic hasn’t played since Celts’ 2-0 win over AIK Stockholm in the first leg of their Europa League play-off tie.

    He caught up with former team-mate Kieran Tierney in London after travelling down for his procedure.


    And he is now likely to be out for the rest of the year as Lennon confirmed the extent of his recovery.

    Lennon said: “You are probably looking at three to four months.

    “It was a clean-up and he knows what to do for his rehab and we are just discussing maybe if he can go away for a few weeks and do his rehab at home.

    “He is alright, it is a blow for us and the player. He felt it was a necessity and thankfully it is not a micro-fracture again, which is a serious operation where you are out for six to eight months.

    “He has had a clean-up and obviously we have to tread carefully on his rehab – the sooner we get him back the better.”
