How he didn't score today, I don't know. That volley near the end Loved his marauding runs forward. He just didn't give a *.

 

What got into him today? Benković swapped bodies with him?

Very active, but our CB-s are cursed when it comes to scoring.

 

Much better technically that I ever gave him credit for

 

Was class today, how he didn’t score but is madness

 

Like watching Ronaldo with those stepovers....

He did well, but he didn't have a single thing to do defensively. Aberdeen played into his hands.

Regardless if Jozo finally lives up to his talent, we need a new defence in the summer. Benkovic and Boyata will be away.

 

That was down to him and Ajer though. They were right on top of Cosgrove so he hardly got into the game.

Because him and Ajer stomped out everything, the amount of times they stepped in and intercepted before they could create any danger and then were strong in the air against that big lump.

They forced the game right up the field, they knew they could handle anything in behind them and they did so phenomenally.

That's Lenny, right? I never saw us handle Cosgrove that easily under Rodgers. I know I'm speculating based on nothing more than gut feeling, but I always had the odd impression Rodgers saw defensive tactics as a bit of a chore to get out the way, whereas Lenny seems to enjoy it.
