    Jozo, number one cb right now - when all fit.
    Long term the goal has to be him and ajer for the next 5 years (we won't get that out of either of course), commper in to steady the ship and help bring, through the two lads.
    Got to surely be the key 3 cbs for remainder of season and looking to the qualifiers.

    Erik and boyata can get to *.
    Happy to see Hendry come in as a 5th choice and see if he can step up. But if both erik and boyata leave, then another cb of a certain calibre is needed still.

    But yeah, jozo surely the main man and needs help to come out of a bad spell.

    As for the Miller tackle, that was just a brucie bonus prize. Guy was one of our best players last season.

    The only reason i would let Jozo go is for the injury factor.Still think he's our best CB when all on form.

    I find it surprising that after Rodgers praising him for so long, giving out a new contract, saying £8m wouldn't be enough and him apparently being content to stay, that 3 months later we'd punt him.

    This whole situation is weird.

    Only thing I can think of is that he is concerned about his injury proneness or has a CB in mind which that money will go towards.

    Either that or he has read on here and wants to punt him because of a howler at Tynecastle.

    Rodgers has said a few times that it's important for players to "make themselves available". What with Simunovic's injury problems, that may be a factor in all this chatter.

    I'm not surprised rodgers know he's good enough for spfl play him watch his stock rise sell knowing you have someone better in mind it's the reason bitton is still here amongst others like when you have a house and market crashes do you sell at a loss or break even or keep rent out till market picks up again

    Anything north of £5M is enough - but we need a replacement before we let him go.

    Jozo goes missing far too often when going gets tough, he is too casual and lets Boyata do all the defending.
    I would have Boyata all day long ahead of Jozo.

    If we get a ball playing centre half beside Boyata we'll do just fine - maybe Ajer is that man and I am looking forward to seeing Compper but would like to see us reinvest the van dijk cash into a centre half.
