    Jozo Simunovic will start tonight on the plastic at Hamilton and then be at the heart of the defence against the French.

    Rodgers added: “He’ll play at Hamilton, and that will be the last of the plastic for a little while. But he needs some minutes out there before he can be available for Tuesday.”

    Don't know what to make of him starting this game tonight.
    On one hand he needs as much minutes as possible as he's not played alot of games of late domestically or internationally. But the plastic pitch at accies gives me the fear and we cant face Neymar, Cavani and Mbappe with Ajer and Bitton.

    One wrong turn on any pitch can do that, I know the plastic ones are different but if Brendan and the medical staff think's it is ok, you have to trust that judgement.

    Very risky from Brendan to play Jozo tonight, but it is the right choice.

    He is our no.1 CB, and we need him match fit for PSG.

    I think that he needs to play tonight.

    He's not had much game time recently and that may be a factor throwing him in against PSG in terms of match fitness.

    Anyway, why can't he play on a plastic pitch? Ffs, he's a big strong man.. it never ever done any of us any harm growing up.

    I'm sure he will be fine.

    I know why we don't like playing him, it just * me off. There's a few players that aren't allowed to play on plastic pitches and I don't think old players would have had a problem with it.
