    It was good aye.

But we finished with 10 points in 2012/2013, beat the greatest club side en route and recorded our first ever away victory in the group stages.

I remember hearing McGeady was complaining about Naylor too. I think he had a point. The way Strachan played meant McGeady was heavily dependent on the left-back. Imagine how much better McGeady would have been with a young Izzy or a Tierney supporting him.

He's definitely up there as one of the worst, especially the amount of games he started. Looking at his stats at Celtic he went from the 1st of November to the 20th of February playing 19 games and only scored 1 goal in them which was the 5th goal in a 5-1 win against St Mirren at home, he started 10 of those 19 games.

Absolutley woeful. I doubt even the likes of Bangura or Amido would have done that badly.

He also only got 3 assists in his 46 game Celtic career.

    Wouldn't surprise me..

That would've been frightening. May even still see it sometime soon.....if McGeady would be happy as a squad player here..

Maybe he didn't try a leg :fear:

To be fair he done no better at the huns for quite a while also, he was a laughing stock there for a good season and a half before he came into good scoring form. Only scored 18 goals in his first 57 games when he joined them after us.

Apparently clubs are looking at him.

We won't accept anything less than 9m, which IMO, is too little. Starting bids should be 20m.

Celtic defender Jozo Simunovic is a summer transfer target for clubs in Spain, Italy, Germany and England.

A solid performer in the 5-1 win over Rangers at Ibrox, Brendan Rodgers slapped a ‘not-for-sale’ sign on the £9million rated Croatian in the January window.

Sportsmail has learned, however, that La Liga duo Sevilla and Espanyol, former suitors Torino and wealthy Bundesliga club Red Bull Leipzig have recently sent scouts to watch the 22-year-old.

The way our team are playing means clubs will be interested in ALL our players not just Jozo,,

The * league we are in means players will probably look at playing somewhere else - NOT because
they don't want to play for our Club or because they think there are better fans somewhere else.

Getting more money has to be factored into the equation but it is not the main thing that drives most
players (look at Dembele, Sinclair etc , they didn't come to Celtic to get rich )

As Celtic supporters we should enjoy the time good players are here and hope we get good money for
them when the time comes for them to move on. Jozo will stay for a bit longer and when the time comes
for him to move on i am sure he will go with our best wishes.

It might be the one thing Rodgers gets frustrated with and leaves before the end of his contract - the fact that we can't hold on to our star players. Clearly, he wants to build a squad for Champs League but if, every year, our best talent leaves, he will struggle to make progress.

Love this Newcastle fan rag trashing our season and Sinclair in reference to their supposed Jozo interest, while discussing how they missed out on Dier, Alli, Wanyama and Van Dijk because they were too cheap.

How did you guys do against Man City this season? Oh, that's right; you didn't play them because you were relegated for being utter muck the season before!

He'll be going nowhere for 9 million.

He's now first choice centre half and he hasn't put a foot wrong for months. A relative kid in defender terms, he's got a decade left in him minimum where he'll also make himself a Croatian mainstay as well.

We don't sell these guys for pennies anymore.

Jozo is class and i'd hate to lose him. If he wants to leave i'd hope he'd stay another season, but i don't see why he'd want to go right now. Fans have started to love him after that tackle and he could reach Bobo Balde levels here.

For £9million they can have a signed picture and a pair of his boots. That's their lot. Jozo's class.

Signed picture, aye, but not the boots. They're worth more than that after the tackle. :57:
