Was a very good season.

Apparently when he was with us he kept going in every other week asking for a transfer and eventually when he did settle and start banging in goals PL called him and told him he was for the off as he wasn't good enough. He quite naturally took it very personally and when he joined them he saw his opportunity for some payback. I think he quite literally hates us now.

 

I remember him saying he was almost crying when Lawwell forced him out, so bad that he almost crashed his car.

 

Personally I thought it was a mistake then to let him go as he seemed to be on form and was enjoying his football. I think PL just didn't like him much. Miller said later that what PL said had been so insulting. I took from that PL bluntly told him we're letting you go you're not good enough.

 

Thank * Lawwell did, I hated him when he played for us. His first touch was * woeful and he kicked the ball like a dafty whod never played football before, limited ability would be being kind to him, never Celtic class.
