Sorry been away on business......and coincidentally took in a couple of games abroad :fear:.

He was, or should I say is on a really decent wage and also received one off signing fee however that will be really reduced for next season as he'd be staying to assist defencive coaching/mentoring whilst we in return put him through his badges and offer him mentoring from gaffer.

Broony is earning more than that, and worth every penny for things he aids the overall squad with.....not just on the park but equally important the stuff he helps others with almost daily.

From nearly selling him to imo our best and most reliable CB, I hope the big man is here for a good few years we just need to get him a new partner, as the other two are ropey as * at times.

Remember when he literally gave Sky an interview outside a cafe in Turin? Thank * that deal when south.

Yup, I wasn't to fussed at the time but what a turnaround now, he is easily our most solid at CB and can play it out from the back when people were putting that down to why he was being sold.

He always looked like he could play it out from the back pretty well, I had more concerns about the fact he didn't look 'dominant' enough (as well as his injuries, obviously). I suppose anyone would look weaker compared to Van Dijk, though.

I think it took for Brendan to come in and deal with the injuries throughout the squad differently for him and others to progress, no slight on Ronny but it's just another level altogether of management and coaching.

Hopefully he can eventually get to a point where he can play twice in a week.

To Deila's credit, he massively improved Lustig and Forrest with regards to injuries. They were ridiculously injury-prone in Lennon's last year or so.

Aye true, I think Deila's main fault was trying to change too many things at once, and as much as I like Stokes him and a few other players didn't help with their attitude, back on topic yeah if we get Jozo playing twice it is crucial to our European campaign.

Don't recall that one being said, or ever being a problem.

That was down to his age when he was first thrown into the Europa league, think he'd played a development team game a few days before and didn't want him to over do it for some of the games. KT quickly got up to pace though.

As CM said that was down to Kieran's age.

Our best centre half, by a long way.
