    By that are you meaning we should always be looking to improve in every position, or do you not rate him?

    I think with Jozo and Erik we have a very good centre of defence. The thing we do lack is a Wanyama-esque defensive midfielder to offer protection in Europe. If we had that, I would have plenty of confidence in our defence.

    His distribution isn't any worse than Sviatchenko's from what I've seen this season , who himself has given it away many time's with careless passing this season..

    The partnership is fine with me, and both are improving by the game, and with each other..

    Correct, because Johansen is a good player who had a prolonged period of poor form.

    Learn to critique the player not his form.

    Should always look to improve in every position. Although the I reckon there's a reason he was going to be allowed to leave. When fit, I'd rather Toure. Although Toure is aging so we'll need to sign another defender. If we sign another defender, I'd rather replace Jozo as I think Erik is more commanding.

    It's not a huge concern and I do rate him.

    Most of those weren't bad passes per se (in the sense of bad technique), they were lack of awareness of his surroundings. That can be fixed IMO.

    I agree we should always be looking to improve all over the pitch but for now, the centre of defence is arguably the strongest area in the squad, in terms of quality and depth.

    Just hope Jozo can eventually get to the stage where he can play 3 games in 7/8 days. It's no use having to chop and change the defence regularly.

    The strongest area of the team at any given time is whatever part of the pitch Broony happens to be in, but I pretty much agree with this.

    This makes no sense to me. I critique a player based on how they perform, which is their form. Fair enough if the players loss or gain or form is short lived, but over a prolonged period you then have to consider that maybe they're just better or worse than you thought.

    Anyway we will just need to agree to disagree on Jozo's distribution

    How long is left on his contract? As long as it's over 2 years we can tell them where to stick it. Maybe we should just offer him an extension, keep other teams away for a while.
