    Thing is, under Rodgers playing out from the back is a requirement.

    Guy just strikes me as a more high profile Efe Ambrose. Bambi on ice when he runs with the ball and would cost a fortune in wages.

    If he goes we will badly need a new centre back, we will only have sviatchenko, toure, o'connel and the chuckle brothers at centre back (not including lustig) , still unsure o'connel but need a top class centre back to replace simunovic

    Is he even back from injury yet?

    I wasn't overly impressed in the few matches he did play, whether that was down to injury problems or not I don't know, but it seems strange that we're moving him on so quickly. It's a little disappointing in all honesty, there was definitely some potential there.

    Question marks over Mulgrew and O'Connell.

    Toure is 35 year old and surely won't play 50 odd games, despite being a fit guy. Lustig is known for his injury problems. As for Barry and Paul the less said the better.


    This situation is a bit worrying, for me. IF no-one else is brought in, that is.

    If Erik and Kolo both get injured we are leaving ourselves short again. Lustig is fine but then we are needing one of Boyata, Efe or O'Connell.

    Aye quite worrying, Lustig known injury prone, Kolo 35 year old and Erik also fairly injury prone, only been here 7 months but been injured about 3 different times.

    Leaving O'Connell whos played about 10 games in his career and the chuckle brothers.
