In my day, toilet paper was an extremely rare commodity. You'd go to the shops and there would be empty shelves but Janice down the road a had piles of the stuff. Could only deliver the stuff to your gran but have to stay at the bottom of the garden like you were the bomb squad trying defuse an explosive device.
