Ask your Polish mate if Josip can do a shift at LB?

    I didn’t realise that. :84:

As said before though, using them as a barometer is probably the biggest contributing factor of why we were left where we were last season. we need to set & keep our sights way way above them.

It needs taken into consideration that Ange's system uses full backs with specific and unusual instructions. JJ coming in to train from tomorrow or Tuesday (Ange's words) leaves little time for him to get up to speed with our system. Tony Rafu will need to take the new boy under his wing for a bit before he gets to start games. Plus he seems like an unreal option off the bench when the huns are tiring.

I’m not disagreeing. Ralston has proven he can step up, but, Juranovic is Anges player and he’ll be first choice going forward. He’s already been playing European qualifiers and performing, no reason he couldn’t come straight in like the rest.

I'd rotate them on a game-to-game basis, and see who is really better.

Pffft.......Ralstinho would have skinned the 3 defenders and the keeper then tapped it in. If anything that was kinda lazy.

On another note I see their keeper is still wearing a head guard after Roofe's GBH on him last season.

Considering we're behind them, I wouldn't mind setting them as a barometer in the short term. We need to over take them before setting our sights on making a big dent in Europe.

Absolutely delighted we have forked out on a quality player. Was disappointed when I thought we were going down the loan route again and passing up on this guy. Very surprised that it went this way. Hopefully a change of attitude in the boardroom and long may it continue.

Shame he isn't a left back. Delighted with this though

We don’t need them as a barometer in the short term either.
In what way are we behind them?
Are you just using last season & not the 9 before?
Are you talking about what you have seen on the pitch this season off both teams?
Are you talking about the players as individuals and, or as a group?
Are you talking about the club finances?
    The squad?
The recent players each team has recruited

The fact they are the reigning Champions and we aren’t.

It’s not that deep mate. They are the team we have to aim to beat. Stop being trigged by someone making them relevant.

Aye, I'm going off last season... The one where we won * all and they won the league. Why talk about the nine? Why not talk about the 2003 team? Has * all to do with it.

We're behind them as, which ever way you want to slice it, they're champions of Scotland. They're the best team in the country. You and I don't believe that but it's their title to lose, ours to win off them.

Most were writing off Europe this season, myself included, as the rebuild was so huge. The priority is the league, which is being better than the huns. Anything else is a bonus.

I'd meant it because we are about to play them. While I agree using comparisons to the hun hurt us over the years I think on the short term, be it a couple of months or until January it's not a problem as it is the start of the rebuild. Then we look at being a team to compete in Europe if we are not there this year.

    Its not triggering me Mac.
I think it’s the wrong benchmark.

I can see already this season we are better equipped than them, so setting them as the benchmark is pointless as far as I’m concerned.

You not bothered with the rest of the questions?
You can’t see our progress this season already?

We can look ahead by gauging the performances we are giving now.
It’s there to see on the park.
