Alright fellas, Saints fan here. Watch out for your boys results as half my family are Celtic. Have to say Hooiveld is a great player for us, can occasionally get caught, but all centre backs do at some point during the game.

He is strong in the air, completely dominated Carew when we played West Ham. In games will generally win 90% of headers, some games he's wone them all. This is also a great asset for our corners, as i'm sure you know, Danny Fox delivers an unbelievable set piece, often Hooiveld is on the receiving end, like West Ham.

On the deck he's also strong. Was a bit suspect at first with his positioning but now he's got used to the way our back line plays he's playing great.

In possession, he is brilliant. Got a great left peg on him and is an assured passer of the ball. Also has great vision and can play a great long through ball or cross field rake.

I sincerely hope you let us speak with him, would be a great addition to the squad. He is getting better and better each game he plays.

Pace, he's not the quickest, but Fonte is their for that. Hooiveld is always there for the first ball. On the Deck he's not so bad either, pushes his man wide so cuts off the route to goal. Only time he's been caught out was the goal P'boro scored, but Sinclair would outpace any defender.

Financially, very well off. However we don't throw money around. Our chairman is very shrewd and will always get the best out of a deal.

I for one was gutted it didn't work out for him hear. When he came he was full of how great he was goin to play for us but got injured and never really got a chance again. He also came as a few have said here when our defense was really unsettled.

Never thought Hooiveld had much of a chance with us. I knew he was doing quite well at Southampton though, so I would like to see him back. Even if he isn't too great for us, he can't be any worse than Maj or Loovens, so we need all the options we can get really.
