    We need 4 wingers.

    Sinclair will be first choice.
As will Roberts or another signing.

    Forrest and Hayes as cover.

At this level, you're limited in what you can have as backup. Nobody wants to sit on the bench in Scotland. I'm happy with they options as long as we sign a top player for the right hand side.

It wasn't long ago GMS, Armstrong, McGregor and Christie were all seen playing wide...

Think he'll prove to be a good singing. Sinclair played a huge number of games last year and looked jaded towards the end of the season. Every time I've seen Hayes play I've been impressed, he stood out like sore thumb in a decent Aberdeen side.

Don't think any of us will have too many gripes about Hayes coming in as a squad player. If he has been bought to replace Paddy as our first pick then it's majorly underwhelming. I expect business to kick off once Brendan gets back but in saying that I was under the impression we had identified the players we wanted in before last season was over & alot of the ground work was done so surprised than nothing has happened so far.

think about it,sinclair gets injured few days before an old firm game.we now have a known hun skelper to take his place rather than that useless idiot gary mcKay steven nice guy likes to giggle a lot so *,like wully maley said * be judged on his football.

does anybody actually think we going to buy a player of sinclairs quality to play second fiddle to him.it wouldn't work.

if the paddy signing doesn't work I do believe well be in the hunt for a right winger.

despite what people say were quite strong through the middle we have rogic, armstrong, brown, mcgregor, eboue(unknown quantity).ddo we sell rogic or Armstrong to bring another guy in?doubt it.are rogic, brown, armstrong going to play second fiddle to new guy?remember mcregors now a serious contender for that position as well.

central defense we have sviatchenko simunovic, boyata.apart from a backup don't see any problems there.

just my view, dont think were in desperate need of a cb and cm as people suggest, theres more concerning areas.like a proper good back up to Tierney or another dange rman on the wings.

Great signing, best player in Scotland not playing with us last year..nice and direct and will give 100%. Have to laugh at the "underwelmed" brigade..if his name was Johnny Hayesinio and signed from Europe theyd be creaming themselves..

up front dembele and Griffiths have proved there both big game players.for one striker position no many will come in to be 3rd choice so don't see a problem there either.

He will be a great addition to the squad..we are competing on four fronts, exactly the type of player needed, knows what its all about in Scotland.. He will only improve under Brendan surrounded by better players..

Will be happy to see him sign, he will get better once he has better players around him and a better manager as well. So well pleased with this signing (when it happens). As for the 'downsizing' quotes :52::56:

A kinda strange that we sign a top quartile SPL player, to join a manger that has proven he makes good into great, and there is a little bit of dissent..... We have got to assume that we have a manager that know what he is doing, and has a plan. Is that squad cover, or the ability to getting an extra 20% from him.... dont know, but in Brendna I trust!!!

Did need a backup for sinclair but my only worry about hayes is that it stifles the development of michael johnstone as I'm hoping he can break through to backup, i think johns a decent player so not too against the signing
