What this team really needs just now is someone who dribbled like they’re playing in roller blades.

 

We’ve got a player in his position who’s miles ahead of him in talent with equal heart and hustle.

 

The guy was rotten. Gave his all but I feel a goal at ibrox has masked how bad he actually was to alot of fans.

 

Hayes put in a shift and put his heart into it. He was also mainly played out of position.

He waa obviously, at SPL level, one of the better players in the league when playing at Aberdeen which is why we bought him.

From what I know he always made a positive contribution when he was with us.

I'm not understanding the negativity over the recent comments. Am I missing something? What's with all the hate?

If all of our current first team had the same attitude to Hayes then the 10 would almost have been guaranteed by now.

 

And if our current first team had the same ability of hayes we'd probably be in the same if not a worse position.

 

Not seeing much if any ability on show at present, relative to potential ability.

If they had the same attitude and professionalism of Hayes then 10IAR would have been guaranteed by now.

Trying hard whilst not unique or particularly special is a definite skill.

 

You know a players pish when all you can say is ‘but his attitude’.

Hayes was and is a woeful footballer who should never have been signed in the first place never mind given a new contract.

 

So you think players not having a good attitude is OK? I'd be interested in you actually saying what a player can do to be good as opposed to general * talking.

 

Where did I say not having a good attitude is ok?

If he could control a ball, put in a good cross, pass a ball, keep the ball under pressure etc.

Runs but.

 

Before we bought him Hayes was a candidate for player of the year for most awards.

Independent of that when Aberdeen played us he was absolutely one of the players to watch out for.

A team is made up of many characters,hayes wasnt a great footballer however we have an abundance of better and more skill full players and look where we are.

You think we are where we are because of lack of talent?no we are not we are there because of a * manager and players who cant be arsed/....no passion no pride no character, nothing a gang of chancers.

Imagine the players we have got had the passion and pride hayes has imagine ntcham,eddie, having that passion and energy(in the dressing room aswell).

Yes has wasnt a great footballer but successful teams are made up of many different characters and one of the things we are missing is passion and hayes has it in the bucketful and i would swap him for ntcham in a heartbeat.

 

Dressing room has changed.. KT and Lustig gone along with Hayes. Broony, CalMac getting older, and Shooders out injured.

Definitely lost some of the passion and attitude in the dressing room.

Duffy will never make up for his lack of pace no matter how much passion.

And Lennon wearing a poppy! Don't get me started.

Kennedy & Strachan need a personality transplant. Never see either show any genuine emotion or passion.

Sad how far our attitude has slipped. The players are not even performing to professional standards and any player who cannot get fit in 6 weeks should have their wages stopped until they are in shape

 

He nearly * that up too.

When we signed him I thought he'd be a decent enough squad player who could fill in, but he got that bad injury and was never even as good as he used to be for Aberdeen.

 

It's not hate, some just don't rate him.

 

I thought he done ok for us. Had he played at LB against Cluj meaning McGregor stayed in his central position I’m convinced we would have got through that night. Maybe we paid over the odds for him in my opinion.

 

We are where we are because of we’ve got a clueless manager.
