    I was underwhelmed when I heard of our interest in Johnny Hayes . But after thinking about the revolutionary changes in the squads performances under BR , I'm quite prepared to wait and see how things develop , and give him time and support in his fledgling Celtic career .     This deal is a good start, especially with Christie going back to Aberdeen. It'll be interesting to see if he can produce the form he did up there over a full season.

    Will be pleased to get Hayes on board as I think he brings a lot to the table. With Sinclair, Forrest, Hayes and a new signing (still hoping for a Roberts return) we're looking strong in that area, plus we have young Mikey Johnston hopefully coming in here and there.

    The reality is we can't sign players of Patrick Roberts quality if we keep wasting millions on bargain basement mediocrity like Johnny Hayes. I'm not interested in squad players, sign Paddy!

    It's a complacent signing by the Celtic board, which saw closure of the Lisbon lions upper tier and poor results. We have rewarded them with 50,000 season tickets. Rodgers success merits a new outlook on the signing policy, being one or two signings of real quality! The Celtic Jersey should not shrink to fit inferior players!

    Last season's transfer policy was an exception, not a rule. They were an injured Griffiths away from managing to lose the League to Aberdeen. They panicked, signed a proper football manager, some proper footballers, and so far there is nothing showing we will have any decent signings that actually improve the overall level of the squad. There are no rumours, not talks, all the Lucas Leiva, Martin Caceres, etc talks are now dead. I can't see a signing coming absolutely out of nowhere for the next weeks.
    Summing up the development fee for O'Connell and the two youngsters we sold to some english sides we might have more than what we paid for Hayes already. They just pocket the money, buy themselves a new boat and wait until we become a joke in Europe again. Ridiculous
