    When we need to press high and be aggressive even in europe, As it has worked against some big teams in the past rather than rolling over as we wont outplay some of these teams.

    He gives us an option.. but he doesn’t start in Europe for me, at the mo.. McGregor is the main man and tactics should be built around his use of the ball and the strength of Dembele and Edouard..

    Best performance tempo wise and right at them was Celtic 3 Man City 3 , McGregor never played.

    McGregor is the type of guy who will score goals in early rounds which we need to build confidence. He has also scored great goals against high quality teams like Bayern and Zenit.

    Back on topic, if we want McGinn to play in the 1st qualifying round we need to sign him today. However I do not want that to let Hibs blackmail us into paying over the odds. For £2-3m plus Allan I would welcome him here and would say good signing but I don't want Celtic giving them £4m so we can sign him today as I believe Forrest, Ntcham, Broony, Christie, Sinclair, Morgan and bhoyish faced McGregor are good enough for our midfield for that round.

    In Europe we need to get better at retaining the ball. McGregor is the best in the squad at that in many people's eyes.

    We have Brown in there to break up play. Ntcham has strength to him as well.

    I want us to sign Mcginn but you need the right balance in there. For what it is worth I think in a better side he will improve on the ball. At the moment he is capable of the odd world cup pass but has a way to go.

    As did Brown when he came from Hibs.

    Exactly, McGinn will need to get used to playing for us domestically first before making the step up to European level..
