    keep hayes,hes our only proven winger apart from Sinclair and forrest,and if any they two get injured we have morgan,johnson who are unproven,mcgregors best through middle although decent on left.hayes is nothing special but think he could be useful for summer qaulifiers then run in for a treble,his crossing especially could be useful against the sturdy rosenborg.

    He would be the ideal player to come into the fold and replace Armstrong in terms of what Brendan looks at in players, he wont sign a big shot reputation player to muscle right in on Brown and Ntcham on massive wages ..but he could come in and compliment whats there in the squad to rotate with brown and ntcham and he might surprise a few.

    Not in the starting XI he wont. If Sinclair and Forrest are fit, they play ahead of him, bottom line. We need a player who will challenge for a place and If we fail to replace paddy with quality then the squad is weaker as a result.
    He doesnt have the quality to take us forward.

    Mcgregor done very well in the games he was used at left mid.
    Possibly but he will need to make an impression in pre season because he really struggled to settle before injury.

    It wouldn't surprise me if a player or someone from the coaching staff did let on to him today. He'll probably be staying in the same hotel or near by also and asking the question..
