Maybe our " problem " is that we have so many . Brown , ntcham, armstrong ,rogic, McGregor, Forrest, Sinclair . Then we have bitton , Hayes and kouassi who struggle to get on the bench . Add Morgan, Christie and Allan .
I know they're not all central but we can only play about five from this group in any game . Adding mcginn would be a bigger headache but I would say yes , take him . Because .........
Here in Scotland your average team play about 40 / 42 games per season . We play 60 / 62 so obviously a huge increase in the odds of picking up injuries suspensions and fatigue

 

For me Bitton and Armstrong will move on this summer

We played 61 this season, the teams to play the most other than Celtic were Motherwell 51, Rangers 47, Aberdeen 49. The larger amount is quite scary really. A Scottish Premier League team would play a minimum of 42 (if they are in Europe) or 43 (if not). If we qualify for group stages of a European Competition then it is 54 games minimum.

Reading that, had a bit of a feeling it might be relevant to this thread, whatever "Down the line" means - Potential player + cash deal was my initial thoughts..

 

Think there is a bit of inevitability about this transfer with Allan being involved. Heard Scott Brown a few times saying McGinn has been his toughest opponent this season and I dare say Brendan and Broony have had a few chats about him.

 

not any better than anyone we have, i really like kouassi and i think he has more potential than mcginn anyway

 

I want him, I think if goes down to England he will do well and we will regret it just like we have done with the likes of James McCarthy in the past.

 

If he goes down there and does well, ah well, good for him. The timing isn't right for him to come here with the quality we already have in his position.

 

He's a guy I would be happy to have but not upset if we lost him to Leeds or another Championship team. If Hibs want £5-6m for him then I would say we have other areas of the pitch to invest it in, his position is not the major priority our squad has, nor the second. If he is the price that Hibs said then there is no chance he will rock up at Rangers.

The Sun and Record both running stories on it. Not that they are any great bastions of truth but given Lennon's comments last week re Allan there might be something in it.

This is a * cert. Will be a surprisingly low figure aswell imo, with Scott Allan part of the deal and us probably sending them somebody on loan aswell ( Kouassi Eboue possibly )

 

Would be very happy if we sign him, I think he is a cracking player.

 

Why would we send our only backup DM out on loan

 

The money could be spent better elsewhere imo.
