    Must say I'm totally indifferent to signing McGinn. Don't really see what other people see or get the hype although he did play very well second half last week. However, potentially a really good player and has time to develop so wouldn't see any negative side to it.

    But 5 million? As a poster noted above, that should be going towards a defender.

    Never 5Mil yet, give them Henderson and 2M. Wanted him since he played for St.Mirren, he would thrive under Rodgers and is future captain material imo. He’s like a young Broony but much better technically at that age can also score goals.

    If armstrong leaves i would take mcginn as a replacement, not for anything more than 4 million mind, but something like 2.5/3 million and henderson would be a good deal for them.

    I have seen a lot of this kid and looks a real talent. I just don't seem to have the desire I've had with other speculation. Probably do well here. But the GMS saga makes me think we jump in too much for the next big Scots player. Although Armstrong was the one I was delighted with more than GMS in that deal. Good position to be in. Huns couldn't afford to buy him new boots!

    On a side note. I was reading the Hibs forum after our game and they had a few page's of why would McGinn ever want to come to us :56:

    You have to laugh really. Aye he wouldn't want to play for his boyhood club and bring the family name back to Celtic, the best side in the country competing at the top table in Europe..
